Back From A Much Needed Vacation...

After spending the last couple of years caring for my mother and wife, I decided to take 10 days and take my wife and granddaughter down to LA for a vacation. We stayed at Marina's folks La Habra Heights and took the granddaughter to Disneyland for her first time and to Catalina Island (we have friends on the island so we stayed overnight.

Definitely a nice vacation and my granddaughter was about to "pop" any time during the trip to Disneyland. This is the stuff that memories are made of. She's 5 now and she'll always remember this trip for sure..

Thanks gang. It was a lot of fun. I can honestly say that this is the first time ever that I spent the entire time at Disneyland in Storybookland and Tomorrowland exclusively. My granddaughter, as you see in the pic, met her "idol" Rapunzel. Afterward, I bought her the full Rapunzel wardrobe that she promptly put on. During the parade Rapunzel and her made eye contact and she blew my granddaughter a kiss and waved to her. I swear my girl was gonna explode. It was one of the best trips to Disneyland ever seeing my little girl like that.
