Yesterday I was having a great day until the phone call. My boyfriend had told me a few months ago about his ex of a few years ago that was "perfect for him" until she moved away. They had dated in college and were almost engaged. Yesterday he calls me, starting with "this is awkward" and explains that his ex is homesick, moving back to his town (he lives about an hour away from me) and interested in getting back together, followed by "and i just could not forgive
myself if I didn't at least give it a shot."
I was nice about it and the anger that comes with being dumped didnt hit me until today.
Now, this guy has yellow teeth. I figured if this girl is that special he needs to improve his teeth a little. So I went to Kroger, got him some Arm and Hammer Whitening Booster and mailed it along with a note that said "Dear (Ex's name here), Between brushing off your least attractive qualities and boosting up your charm, you should be set to impress your perfect girl. GOOD LUCK! -Jess"
I hope he laughs. He's a joking guy, likes to be picked on and pick on others.
I don't think its really immature what I did.
In any case, it sure made me feel better.
