Are your friends younger or older than you?

All over - younger and older
+1 so true, but, closest friends are approximately same age... and not married.
I've met some younger bros and chics who were definitely way wiser than their age... they had the whole Velvett stride in their step, not exactly the same but similar. Always a nice thing to have.

I'm 31 and my friends range in age from 18-62 right now. I don't care what age a person is as long as they are interesting.

Cheers,
Scotsman

my closest friends, who I made as an undergrad, are all older. Now that I am in grad school every single person i hang out with is a younger undergrad

I'm sure this answer has alot of variables.

for instance, i'm sure people in their 30's who are still single probably have alot of friends who are married and have kids and probably dont hang out with them as much. so they gravitate towards a younger crowd

me personally...i've always been the youngin of the group. Especially friends at pretty much every job i've ever had. and now even people i meet when i go out (or through other friends). I kinda like it though, especially when no one thinks im that young. a majority of my friends are close to 30 or a little above

Most of my really close friends from childhood are obviously the same age, but after high school i hung out with alot of older people. just more fun, mature and "together" i guess. i can't really say i've lived the life of a person in their early 20's, either

as i get older i'm sure that will change
how old are you?
honestly, what Ive found once I became an adult is, we're all adults. age difference matters very little once you're all grown and on your own. yes, i know this may seem obvious. So if you're 25 for example and your friends are 30, that's not really anything significant at all. Now, if by older you meant your friends are all in their 40s or 50s, well then you got issues lol j/k
Also, my husband is near 5 yrs younger than me and the last dude I dated as 12 yrs younger.

Most of my friends and hubby are all older than me a few years. My oldest friend is 35. I have a few my age, and only 1 friend a few years younger than me.

What's with you and the cradle robbing?

my younger friends or ones the same age always tend to say/do stupid shit and be a negative influence on me.

the exception are a few of my frat brothers from my pledge class. theres 2-3 of them that really have their shit together ( no pun intended ) and still party like rockstars. my childhood friends are my childhood friends but i still distance myself because they dont have it together either. easy to get wrapped up in a friend's lifestyle and mentality if you're around them enough

works both ways though. when i hang out with older people i'm more motivated to succeed...because they all own homes, have a nice car, good job etc.

Thats sounds like me. Most of my childhood friends have gone no where in life and still live with their parents or have no desire to move up in life. I have other friends who im not as close to, but like to stay in touch because they are more goal oriented and successful----->good networking

Most of my friends are younger than me considering most women my age have had kids. I dont do the kids thing .

I do have a couple of pretty good friends in their 40's but the majority are younger.
