Du'a Khalil Aswad was a 17 year old Iraqi Yazidi girl who was stoned to death in an honor killing. Some reports say she was murdered by Yazidi men, some of them her relatives, for having converted to Islam to marry a Sunni Arab boy.[1][2] The incident took place in early April 2007 in Bashika, a town in Ninawa Governorate, and was filmed on mobile phones and widely distributed throughout the Internet.[3] It is believed her murder caused a reprisal attack in Mosul, where 23 Yazidis were killed.[4] Both her murder and the reprisal were condemned by Amnesty International[5] and by the Kurdistan Regional Government which asked the federal government to investigate.[6]

in happier news: shiite insurgents grabbed 20 kurds out of a bus, and executed them in retaliation for this. hope it was all worth it now.

god damn motherfuckers
Muslims preach about how only a few are extremist, and most dont condone these action. The fucking square wass FILLED with people ageinst ONE 17 year old girl, a child, that hadnt done ANYTHING wrong.
Who does things like this? im no racist, but these arent humans. They act like fucking savages. And then blame others for everything thats wrong in the world.
Ok, im done. I had to get that out. I started sweating when watching that. Like my whole body reacted profoundly against it.
