It says that this girl was turned over to the mob that stoned/beat/trampled her to death by her own uncle and that her own family participated as police were watching.

2 men have since been arrested but have been released.

23 people were killed in a supposed revenge attack by Sunnis.

The girl was buried in an unmarked grave, her body exhumed and forensicly tested for her virginity. According to reports her hymen was still intact, she was still a virgin at the time of her death.

Under Iraqi law the maximum penalty for an 'honour' killing is six months jail.

Man you couldn't be more far from the truth. That's like me saying some small cities in southern Alabama that give a hard time to foreigners and people of other ethnicity is a uniform habit throughout the country... no sir.
