Anyone here take a CIA/FBI/NSA polygraph?

nimbus said:
what specific clearance are you trying to get?

Nobody here knows about what every single type of application process entails. Just because someone has a TS/SCI doesn't mean they know anything your specific situation; the whole point of SCI is that you need to special clearance for each different compartment, of which there tons of. TS/SCI requirement and screening procedures are different among different branches such as the FBI, CIA, and NSA; and are also different between various task forces within each branch. So nobody here has the right answer for you with any certainty, yet.

Pass a general application for the CIA.

my good friend took it and failed it for a really stupid reason; i can't remember what it was but i'll call her tomorrow and ask about it.

I am wondering what type of questions they ask for CIA/FBI/NSA polygraph employment tests. I've googled it but didn't come up with much.

Yes I have and it was by the CIA and I have no comment.

LOL. depends on what your going for and I'm to old to say what they ask now. They use to be after homos because they're easy to blackmail or so they said. Doubt that's in there anymore but it might be.

It really depends on what you want to do. Killer on the loose in a foreign country is much different from a office worker.

let me know when you find out.

so i talked to her briefly and then my phone died, sorry i gotta try again lol.

What i got out of her before the convo got killed was that they asked her a bunch of questions about drugs, and the reason she got denied was because she admitted to taking adderall without a prescription in the last 6 months. I'll update this when i reach her again

so i also found out that they ask a lot of questions about your employment and specifically what you did when you were unemployed. they also ask about places you've traveled, and people you listed as references. criminal record is also discussed, and sometimes they ask you about your sexual history

Looks like the same old crap they always ask.

BTW - did she admit to the aderall use after she failed the test?

no she didn't lie at all, she confessed to taking it during the test, and they failed her because of it
