On another note, like some questions I have seen ask if you have stolen anything.

I can't list the times I have pilfered something. For example, in the military we would be doing patrols during exercises and hit the visiting troops at night and take everything. One time we got away with four new HUMVEE tires (took them off the damn thing while the other guys were sleeping 50 feet away lol) If they ask me if I have stolen something, what the hell d? I say "Yes" and during the interview they are going to ask "What and how many times?" I'll have a laundry list lol

Perhaps I am being paranoid.

At least I don't need to worry about the homosexual questions lol
Dont list it on your application. They only know what you tell them.. They ask standard questions unless you confess or write a novel in your application....

dood...you are bring entirely too paranoid. they don't look for things to disqualify you, they just want to know you are honest...

and like the military...there are always waivers (if you need one)

It is my nature to be paranoid.

Yes, well, I'm talking about the highest level of clearance. My last boyfriend worked for JTTF with the FBI and had the highest level clearance possible (TS/SCI). For TS it goes back seven years and they don't always polygraph.

ts/sci is not the highest level.

I've never heard of a higher level than that. But arguing this is completely semantics and nit picking because my point still stands about what I was telling cindy.

what specific clearance are you trying to get?

Nobody here knows about what every single type of application process entails. Just because someone has a TS/SCI doesn't mean they know anything your specific situation; the whole point of SCI is that you need to special clearance for each different compartment, of which there tons of. TS/SCI requirement and screening procedures are different among different branches such as the FBI, CIA, and NSA; and are also different between various task forces within each branch. So nobody here has the right answer for you with any certainty, yet.

This is true.
