Usually I read your poosts and say, "Well that's plunky" then move on.

I have to say your translation is pretty dead on.

I received my MBA from Pepperdine in 1976 then an MBA was uncommon. I was Regional VP for a little Company in Pittsburg called Westinghouse. So I have seen Corporate America when we were only allowed 3 color suits Black, Navy & Charcoal. The shirt color was crisp starched long sleeve white.

Back to my fist comment.

I am going to hypothesize:

Razorguns made a comment he made $500 today. I assume since he was very proud of that he does not make $500 everyday.

Razorguns says he is rich, yet $500 in a day even if is was 7 days a week will leave me with 3 vehicles repossed and no lights, cable, water or gas. The debt service is a non issue at this point because I will be drinking from my pool and bathing there as well.

I haev read that he has numerous businesses, yet he is
1)not marrried
2)never gets ass
3) tends to over-reach his status
4)posts every negative comment when there is no need always to enhance his own self image not realizing anyone that can read thinks he is a baffoon.

So If I am correct in the previous assumptions the result is.

He works as a part time security guard in a lumberyard at night. He can almost pay the rent in his one bedroom apartment, hates everyone that is successful because they owe him and probably weighs about 425.

I wonder how close I am.

I believe he's cited $500/day contract work more than once. It's not a per-hour figure -- I believe he was trying to impress us by saying he got it all done in one hour.

All I gotta say is that it is wonderful that he got paid $500.00 for a contract and that he was able to get that contract work done in one hour. Great!

How many clients/contracts he got like that per week? And how long has he had "X" number on a regular basis?

I don't understand why he would stop after working one hour and "brag" about going to the mall? Why didn't he work say another 4 hours and make another 2K? Which leads to the next question: With earning potential like that why is he sleeping till noon, then only working one hour, then knocking off to go skateboarding (or whatever it is that kids do these days at the mall)?

.... but he is "wealthy"?

Everything he says is hard to believe. The largest consulting firm in the world charges $450 a billable hour for their people. That is for a multi-billion Corporation, then they have an entire team that works on a project. So After reading his posts for 2 years I stand by my post, nonetheless it is beyond belief anyway.

The only way you can get a mani/pedi in one hour is if you have two people working on you at once and then it's more expensive which is not in alignment with Razorguns' "keep down your debt" platform.

Even in IT visual c++ device driver crap back in the day, i'd charge $60/hr. Do the math.

I can make even more than $500/day if i wanted. $500/8 = $60/hr so it's about industry average.

$60/hr for all the complex 3d animation modeling dynamics rendering particles shit I do that none of you 'educashun is dumb!' morons can't do, is cheap as fuck.

Think that's expensive? Go call Microsoft Consulting and ask what their rate is to go do some .NET web develpoment for you. While your'e at it, go call Sony Consulting too.

Her attorney is a woman, she gets $350 an hour, 15k retainer. I wrote her a check today.

I can post when I have time, something about having a computer at my desk with the three screens. I am so amused by you it reminds me of when I was 21 and told my wife's uncle that I was making so much money I could live forever. He was an American Airlines pilot, he made more in a day than I did in a month. I was so ashamed when I grew up I still talk about that conversation.

I am an old geezer, if that is your best shot good for you. Your ablilties have not changed, nor have they increased.

The guy that worls on my bike makes $78 bucks an hour, he works on mine and others for 8 hrs a day. Perhaps you can go to motorcycle mechanic school and learn a trade where you can make some money instead of pretending. Then you can actually get a Harley. Oh, remember I pay the money to have it worked on plus I own the bike so he is labor. It's worth it for me cause I don't do anything but ride.

Oh, BM didn't go to the mall today, she just hung around the house. But when she does she saves me at least $3,000.00 every time she shops.

just curious....since i'm back on my school hustle.

I'm back in school and trying to get my bachelor's wrapped up. prolly gonna take me a year and a half to get it finished, but it's really not going to do anything for me financially that i couldn't achieve now.

my ultimate aim at going back to school was to get an MBA or possibly go to law school.

but my question is this, if one goes directly from their bachelors to their MBA is it looked down upon and difficult to get a job? As far as experience goes? I"m working really hard, and trying to transfer to U of florida (Top 50 school) and knowing my test taking abilities i should do well on the GMAT and be able to go to a pretty decent grad school

I have lots of work experience and held high positions including management but all in the mortgage business and in sales...some marketing.I'm so burnt out on sales itself, so the marketing aspect appeals to me alot more.

a buddy of mine went from undergrad at IUP to Pitt's 11 month accelerated MBA and then directly to wall street. . .about 6 months in he got a seat on the gold exchange and then went up from there. . .10 years or so ago he started his own firm. . .now he makes a millon+ a year. . .so the answer to that question is NO. . .
