I used Melanotan 2 last spring and got a great tan (that i have never been able to attain before) that lasted all summer. THe only concern i have is that MTII appears to have an aging, thicening of skin appearwance to alot of people...
read on for some others opinion.
"melanotan definitely does something to your skin to make it look old, and it is not just because it is darker after using.
it does something else too, in addition to the tan, it builds up some sort of layer on top of your skin that looks rough, and old, kind of just leathery, and it is not dehydration, because no matter how much water you drink it is there,
it's like the peptide alone, without the sun, signals the body produces a thick, rough protective layer, i think this is the reason why they say that melanotan protects you from the sun, but all rough, and leathery, and looking ten years older just to be tan,
yet there always is that strong drive that makes you want to be tan, and get all its benefits, and it makes you want to believe that melanotan doesn't age your skin, but it just does, and there is no way out of it.
when i went on my cycle, after the first week i was stoked because the melanotan started to give me some color, and it looked nice, but then after another week, i looked in the mirror, and thought i am definitely looking older from this stuff, without any uv, kind of the beginnings of new roughness and thickness to my skin i never saw before,
but i wanted to continue still, with the injections because of all the benefits of a tan, then i decided to quit, because i didnt like the direction of older look, and didnt want to have to always be injecting.
see when i started i thought i would be getting a perfect tan, with thick youthful buttery skin, believe me melanotan does not give this, it gives a crude, rougher, leathery, looking skin. and i think it dragged on my health in other ways, i just felt lower energy, maybe even slightly physically older.
i dont want to scare anyone off, it just wasnt for me, but all i am saying is that as much as you want it to be the best thing ever, you really have to think of the old adage "that if it is too good to be true, it probably is",
but if you really still want to try it, just to say you did or whatever, just be very cautious and take before pictures so you can compare and see where you are heading, and if you dont like the direction your skin, or health is headed in, just be powerful enough to quit, on the spot.
always have to be injecting, do want to always have to be injecting weird things?, and maybe other weird impurities you dont even know about?, maybe you dont."
Anyways for those of you who have used this what is your concensus on this product?
