Any one else having major delays due to the UK Royal Mail Strike?

The strike is finally over, but they are backed up 2 to 3 weeks still. There should be a real influx of packages coming in from the UK soon.... To many to check carefully : )

i had no idea about the strike but i am experiencing a delay on a package from the UK. i'm glad to hear about that.

i generally go domestic on amps, europe on orals.

My friend, who is anxiously awaiting a package seen a news blurb about it on Fox News last week. I then proceeded to the Internet...Gotta love the internet, and found Royal Mail's website.

I don't do enough gear, that it matters. My friend Dave though would probably love a good domestic source. He had a pretty good size order of bol siezed recently.... bummer. So it would be cheaper to order domestically and get it then overseas and not. No matter the price. I am a computer geek first... Then a lifter, where he is a lifter, and I think he can spell computer. I pretty much stick to the paper stuff now myself. It works, and my wife has no idea of what it is!

The strike has effected all the mail here in UK. It was an unofficial strike so some areas were not effected. The main problem was in London where there is now a huge backlog

Yeah, I'm still waiting for a pack from there. Not gear, but I still want my shit now. My pack went out on the 23 and it's wherebouts now are a mystery.
