Any one else having major delays due to the UK Royal Mail Strike?

my take...

...mailboxes were sealed so no mail could be posted if anything amounts hitting the USA will be less than normal. the worse thing about mail strikes is postal workers are notorious for mail dumping.

The strike is over and certainly UK domestic mail has been just about cleared. If you are in USA and waiting on packages then these must be sent from the Post Office (not letterbox) but dependent on where they were sent from will depend on delay reaching the airport.

As i say London was worse hit many areas in UK were unaffected as unoficial strike

Was harrow middlesex affected by this? I had ordered some script non-controlled meds that originated from there on oct. 16th.
