Any BMW owners here?

I tell people I want a BMW, about half say "cool." The others say "You're allready an asshole...perfect car for you".

Nah. But there is a pretty bad stereotype out there. Anyway, I think they're the sweetest things on four wheels. Even if no one ever saw me driving, I'd still buy one.

Jackangel, the M3 is the considered by some to be the best sports car in the world. I sat in one at a dealers on the weekend and I actually got wood. It was great. If I can save up enough $$ I'll buy one early next year....otherwise it'll probably be a 330ci. (Of course, either one will be from the 00-04 line, as the new BMWs look like hey were designed by a retarded 5 year old).

Hi,

I am new to this board and to bodybuilding. I have been reading for weeks and gleaning all kinds of good info. This is my first response to a post. I have been pretty intimidated about asking questions about bodybuilding, so I guess it took my love and passion for my cars to get enough guts to post a reply. I have 2 BMW's, 1 is a 99 2.8 Z3 and the other is a 1973 2002 that I am currently in the process of a complete restoration. The progress on that car is as slow as my progress at building muscle (LOL). Both Auto mechanics and bodybuilding are new to me. I have owned the Z for four years and the 02 for about 3. I have never had any mechanical problems with my Z. I to am fanatical about maintanence. BMW has easily become my favorite German car. Always a blast to drive and a pleasure to own. Are you looking to purchase a BMW?

You've got a 2002? Fucking right on. I read they're supposed to be among the best BMW's ever made. Cool looking too.

90% of this board is made up of total meat heads, so I suggest checking out the ladies forum. I've picked up some good advice there...

Anyway, I'm looking at an newer M3 or 330ci. Depends on my savings account balance in 6-7 months... :)

BMW Z3

Requires LOTS of lubrication for me to get behind the wheel.

I will always own a BMW, no other car combines all the essential elements like Bavarian, if you maintain the vehicle properly it will last a good 12 - 15 years.

I was untill very recently had 330ci with sports package.. The experience was great but I HATED the car.. Everytime you would hit a pothole you would either hit the bottom of the car or bend rim. I replaced the tire about 4 times over three years.. and they are not cheap

HAHHAHHHAA

shhhhhhhh I hate to admit this but I owned a Trans Am - loaded, T-top, sick wheel, tires that were trashed often, sub woofer all that crap. The BMW is by far the lessor evil. Trust me.

I mean really you have to ask yourself you wanna drive a car that you enjoy driving or do you want to become a slave to what others think about your car and therefore you.

I say f**k em'. Drive what turns you on.

Lexus is niiiice. You're right though, it's more of a cruiser than an actual sports car.

Matt, if I may ask why arn't you rolling in a Ferrari or something?

The biggest thing stopping me from a car like that is time and maintenance. I don;t have a lot of time to use it (I just bought a Morgan a few months ago - I only get to use that like every other week).

Secondly, there are no garages I know of in Jacksonville, FL that do Ferrari maintenance, and I don't want a guy with a Porsche background trying to read the Ferrari manual at $400/hr trying to figure the thing out.

It's been thought about. :) I actually just found a good English car mechanic here to work on the Morgan, so I am trying to use it more and more

I've been throwing around the idea of an Aston Martin, however...now those are cool.
