I tried the same in an AWD subaru and ended up in a snowbank.
How does your 328 handle snow?
90 degree turns on ice with no slippage? And all four wheels were on solid ice? I don't think so, unless the car was wearing spikes. AWD is not magic, it just helps like an 4WD system on a jeep. I can make AWD slip like a bitch just to prove a point. Incidentally subaru has one of the worlds best AWD systems, their system is developed in and refined around rally racing, it's almost as good as it gets. Also don't be suprised if the AWD drive system of BMW is based on Japanese models.
BMW is getting to be nothing special. Aside from it's heritage and it's premium models, the 3 series are like upscale Honda civics, all over the place. Nothing special about owning one anymore, just living the illusion.
