it is really interesting to see all the replys from the credible bros on here. Bodybuilding is discipline. they go hand and hand. you cannot have sucess in one without being exercising success in the other.
A few shows ago(the worlds Gym classic in San Diego) i was talking for awhile to Jay Cutler after the show. Ive known him for some time(since he lived in Aliso viejo) and he gave me some advice to get me started in bodybuilding(which i obviously greatly appreciated(he was the first guy to tell me I could drink winny..lol)..
Anyhow the man truly is living discipline. Moreso I think than any bodybuilder out there. Year round he never misses workouts or strays from his diet. And he never has, even as a teenager. eating every hour or hour and a half, ALWAYS clean, ALWAYS with the final goal in mind and his workouts follow suit. I know it is hard to compare most recreational bodybuilders to a pro but I like to try to follow the actions of sucess and I adopted(and modified things to my own body) Jay's methods of discipline and hard work to reach results.
For the last 15 weeks I wasdoing cardio after my weight workouts then waking up @ 2 AM, drinking a protien shake and some ECA or clen stack and doing cardio @ 2:30 with 30 min of posing practice before I would eat again and go back to sleep. My calories may not have dropped below 3600 the entire diet(mainly up in the 4000's) but I competed @ 250 in awesome shape. anyone who has seen my post probably realizes for my size I do not use extraordinary amounts of gear(hell ive never even touched GH, IGF-1, slin, and many other potent steroids). But Ive been successful because of my unwavering dedication to my diet, desire and willingnness to keep learning, and intesnse training, and those are really the keys.
there is my 02.
