If you want to go Plat - go plat - if not, don't - who gives a fuck

I'm not going to pass judgement on someone just cause they didn't "pay" for a site that lures you in as a "free" site.

We are all here for the same reason (most of us) - so everyone just mind their own business - those whose choose to pay - will, those who choose not to - won't.

End of story - stop all the crying, self promoting, and REDICULOUS plans to turn this place into some sort of "Palace" where only an elite few with the Golden Key can get in.

I'm not plat and I plan on being. I dont have any money at all because I'm putting myself through a private engineering college. I have been researching for about 2 years and I like to think I can offer a little advice even though I'm not plat. Like I said once I get some money I'll become plat.

This site wouldn't be what it is today without the plat members, bigger mailbox,view galleries ,plus the " Best of Elite " forum (plats only) etc, I remember when this site was all free and it was like all the rest out there, now elite has become the standard above all others!

Granted it doesn't cost a lot, but when you don't make shit for money and are trying to afford the VERY expensive lifestyle we all live, it adds up. After groceries, rent, and bills every week I have less than 30$ to spend.

Well, I can certainly AFFORD the Plat status, but do I need it? I can get info and give my opinion just as easy being a non plat member, so why do it? You have no idea what kind of server bill (bandwidth) alone GS pays. On top of that legal bills and employees to have the site going. When other sites run, GS fights for your rights, pays out of his own pockets to protect the members. Of course, a business has to make some profit, that's common sense.
