That's total BS man. This site would become a ghost town if you did that. Lots of people would just go to other free sites and that would destroy Elite's standing as the premier AAS info site. Also lots of people who aren't Platinum offer great advice (I just got great advice from Prizz and BigCracker, 2 guys that offer great advice alot and are non-plat, there are obviouslly others). I support Elite in other ways. I just ordered some Amplify for my PCT and have also bought the Creatine before.

Well, I can certainly AFFORD the Plat status, but do I need it? I can get info and give my opinion just as easy being a non plat member, so why do it? Don't give me the "Support the site" talk either, cause I can see all the banners on the site pretty easy..... Elite makes its' share of $..... Not that there is anything wrong with that... I'm just saying..... Been posting on this board since the 1990's, never had to pay before.....

I will chime in here and say i won't be paying, not that anyone would care, but i promise you this, if you decide to charge just to use this site, you WILL NOT and i say WILL NOT be getting new members to sign up, i don't think anyone who is just starting to look for advice on bodybuilding will pay 12 bucks a month just so they can join up, you will lose all your "new" members who haven't joined yet...make sense? Now, i promise you that over time many of your current platinum members will get tired of the board, find other interests etc and then cancle their membership when they realize they don't need it.....

For instance, i've been on here for 6 years, was platinum when it first started, then i didn't visit the board for quite a while because of work, interests, time etc, if i came back and seen i had to pay, i'd say hell with it.....what im trying to say is if you did this in the long run George would be killing the site slowly

All these newbies just wanting some info don't all have a credit card and are ready to pay over 100 bucks a year to something they only see advertised.....at least the way it is you see the perks of being a platinum and then you can decide.

That is bogus man! If they can afford to pay for AAS, they can also afford to pay for Plat.
There is no free lunch. If you are having a free lunch, someone else is paying for it. Everyone has to pay their dues. Be a man and not a free loader.
Pay for play. There is nothing unjust to ask someone to pay for the service he is getting. Why should I have to pay (through my Plat membership) to support the free loaders.
I am Plat not because I like any extra stuff - I am Plat because I pay for any service that I get.

well bro, there are plenty of "free lunches" at many many other bodybuilding websites....and yes, there are some very intelligent people here, but there are PLENTY of intelligent people elsewhere

Honestly, I agree. This would keep the people out that offer no real advice, and simply piss us off.

I'm tired of hearing bad info go around. My new trainer pretty much agreed with me when I spoke to her yesterday. There is too much bad info going around on the net, and we really need to stop it. The last thing we want is having some guy use for the first time, and do something wrong because of bad info he got.

However, I think that we should get more for our money. I personally, would like to be able to have images in my sig. There would be a limit on the size, and how many, but that's what I want.

Sign up ? everybody send me to hell with my newbie questions why i should pay for that ? and not only me all the newbies got no answer and got flamed most of the time , even intermediate bodybuilders and this site is full of beginners with a lot of stupid questions ( as you guys call them ) good luck with your ideas.

i am what i am said:
As a non-plat, I can't blame you guys for wanting to rid yourselves of us. I by no means am an authority on the subject, although I have researched almost every chemical on the market, researched how to perform them right, researched how to train and diet, and researched what supplements should be taken.

To my point. Just because you are a platinum member does not make you an authority on the subject of anabolic steroids nor should anyone heed your comments more than anyone else who posts on this board because you are a platinum member. Many guys that come to this site do so because of the reputation it has achieved, thus, the reason I came. They also come to ask questions about how to take these steroids the right way, and although their questions may sound stupid to many, they simply have not been in the game long enough to know the answers. It is tiresome, but remember, you were in their shoes once, and to deny them answers would only lead to a larger body of users who are unknowledgable and take their gear the wrong way. Forcing newbies to sign up as platinum members would not stop the idiots dishing out the wrong answers.

Finally, until George sees fit that only platinum members are worthy of surfing his website, then do your best to provide these questions with the right answers and spread the power of knowledge.

BINGO! K for ya.

This is the best sight I've been on and have been here since 2002 not counting my 23 months down state, but I think if you dont pay you dont stay,Get a free week membership to check things out and than you either sign up or go home...I'm broke but 11.95 a month I can pay that with the money in my coin jar..Who the fuck is with me!!!

I've purchased Platinum memberships for many good bro's on this board, I want a new level ? What's higher than Platinum cause I want it, maybe power to bounce Newbie and Chatters back where they belong ::

Things change and so did the $ for elite. I remember back in the day when I would jump on for free and knew, by their threads, just about everyone on this board. Now I'm lost! So many new names, it's hard to keep track of. That's where the Pt members get screwed because we get lumped with everyone else on the board. The guy that posts 10000 per day gets better treatment regardless of member status. This has always been the case. I'm the type that sits back and reads. Is it fair? I don't know. I do think the site should be open to everyone and membership status does not reflect knowledge of BB. I don't know sh*t.

Very well said, great post. I would also like to add that many non-platinum members support the site via sponsors, including myself. This is usually how it is at most other bodybuilding forums as well.
