Advice for girl/ possible training partner in SJ Ballys?

I am new to this site, but not new to working out. I need advice, possibly a work out partner... let me start by this..

My problem areas are my legs are not even.. the top is much larger and easier to build on and my calves are very hard.. it seems everytime I work legs its the same thing!! No progress!

My high points are my ass and my upper body in general. Back is really defined. Got a pretty good routine going.. just need some help!!

I currently go to ballys.. anyone possibly want to discuss on here and then maybe get some train session together? I belong to a couple other gyms so hit me up and get me moving in the right direction!

Calves seem to be a tricky bodypart for many people to train. The first thing everyone will tell you is that genetics plays the major role in how much development you'll get. This is true, of course, but you can figure a way to get the best stimulus for growth from your genetic make-up. Which means you have to experiment a bit.

If what you're doing is broke you can fix it. Working them 2-3 days instead of 1. Or working them less than 2-3 days if that's what you're doing now. Try raising or lowering your reps. Change up exercise selection every few weeks to keep from adapting to the routine. You get the idea. The best way is the one that works. It just takes a bit of patience to put the pieces of the puzzle together.

Which Bally's do you belong to? I was a member of Deptford's, Echelon's, and Maple Shade's. I currently belong to Basic Fitness now, on the White Horse Pike in Laurel Springs.

Why don't you list specifically what you are doing & have tried ... ? (I would suggest listing your diet as well)

I have been going to the one by the echelon mall, its closer to my house. When I go after work I go to the maple shade one. I have been to basic fitness a few years ago since it is the only 24 hour gym and i worked crazy hours. Do you train there every day? Basic needed to update a bunch of the equiptment.. not sure if it still runs like a jail house gym! Ha Ha!

I think Echelon's is the best Bally in the area. Deptford is small, and the equipment is from 1954.

Basic Fitness is still a little jailhouse, at least down in the basement where the free weights are. I think that's what I like about it though. Some of the machines are old but all of the many hammer machines on the first floor seem just fine to me. I've only been there since January so I don't know how long it's been since they've upgraded. I train there Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.

BTW, there is a separate women's forum... should be useful to get some reading done there as well... off course your more then welcome here too :)
