Abscess or Just Soreness?

Let's say someone pinned 1 cc Test E and 1 cc EQ both 200 mg/ml in the left glute on Sunday and has had a great deal of soreness since then (now wednesday). This is the 4th shot and every shot was painful but none like this one. The site is pretty swollen, mildly red, not feverish but warm, and hurts like hell. Not crippling but very uncomfortable when any weight is shifted onto it. That person stuck a 22g pin in it to see if it would drain and there doesn't seem to be anything in there. Do you think this is just injection soreness or something worse? I'm thinking a hot bath tonight and if it's not better by tomorrow then maybe a trip to the doctor. What did it look like when some of you guys had abscesses?

The next scheduled inject is tonight and the gear gets amazing reviews. It was filtered through a .45 whatman and baked so I'm thinking it's just a high BA content.

Watch it carefully, and watch your fever carefully. Apply a heat pad to the site, and massage (deep tissue) 4x per day. If you develop a fever, or the redness or swelling gets more pronounced, go to the doc immediately.

Also, don't check for redness swelling after performing anything I have just recommended, do it upon waking or something.

Keep an eye on it, and don't be a hypochondriac, but make sure you listen to your body at the same time bro...

If it's an abcess, it will get worse not better. GOOD LUCK, BRO!

Dont stick needles in it anymore either. You will know if its an absess shortly.

I know it was a bad idea but I just wanted to know if it was puss filled or what. It's getting smaller......well less swollen and it's not that painful anymore. Its weird though the lump is still there. I am wondering if I hit it at an angle by accident and didn't get deep enough. We will see in a couple more day I suppose as I am still nursing it.

I think is just an irritation deep into the muscle bro....it will go away after like a week. Just do not inject in that area for a while. Let rest and recover.

I think you're right. I was scared shitless for a day or two. I'm glad you guys gave me the down to earth response instead of making it sound worse than it is.......which I see a lot on the internet.

A lot of the time it is scar tissue and / or the oil not fully dispersed in the muscle
