a quick and silly observation...

Everything happens in cycles... I just noticed that a while back it seemed that convo here kind of sucked and everybody was getting crabby that it was so stale and the banter escalated to lame attacks, which is only natural, but now it just seems that convo is getting better... so maybe we are on an upward cycle again... I dunno... I think I just jinxed it by breaking first rule of fight club...

You're such an optimist. ;-)

Ya know my favorite part in that movie is just the airline convo they are having, and just how charismatic and gregarious bp is, dude is a solid actor, I don't care how much envy I or every other dude has of him, I can't deny his fucking ability to persuade, anyway my favorite scene is when they are on the airplane... anyway Ed Norton is talking about this whole rumination he has about single servings.. and its a pretty well thought out rant.. u get the logic, -see this is something I can relate too, a rant which U dig, and is allright- but not nearly as profound to the audience... anyway

Tyler Durden: I get it, that's very clever. How's that working out for you...
Narrator: What?
Tyler Durden: Being Clever...

This kills me cause, welll I just Ed Norton in that experience of having thought out some silly observation and built on it, and think its so fucking profound, when its really folderol. -silly& foolish- and basically through just one question, you get your ass handed to you and you reflect on how silly your thought actually was. Anyway I relate to that.

Now I feel like spartacus for doing the movie quote thing.

Anyway I went on and on, but maybe u could be helena bonham carter's tyler durdan or her alter ego... j/k I see a resemblance, but not nearly as much as everyone else.

I completely get what ur saying.
My favorite part is:

When you have insomnia, you're never really asleep... and you're never really awake.

I spend much of my time feeling this way but never thought of such a simple way of explaining it.

No worries about feeling like Spartacus. I love the movie quote threads, especially the ones about American Psycho. Speaking of American Psycho, I think I'm gonna run to the book store and pick up a new book about psychopaths. That's damn good reading.
We have been talking about that stuff in my psych class. It has always peaked my interest.

That quote fits you perfectly, but I think metaphorically
[When you are just in a unaware -normal state for me- , you're never really asleep... and you're never really awake. fixed...
I feel for your insomnia though, I hate that shit, cause then its just repetitive thought over and over...
I imagine some nights you relate to this wordsworth quote...

A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by,
One after one; the sound of rain, and bees
Murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas,
Smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky;
I have thought of all by turns, and yet do lie.
Sleepless!
I'm not sure which is worse narcolepsy or insomnia... I'm thinking Insomnia.
I can never read psychopathic books or profiles, cause that shit will bug me incessantly, like I would spend forever, trying to come up with the reasons why.. when really... I'm starting to think that we just give reasons and basically do what we do. I dunno...
