On that second picture, the way you are on your toes. Do you do that too when you do calf raises? I had someone point out to me a few years ago that it's common for people to angle your feet like that, with the heels reaching to each other. He told me to focus & ensure that the plane of the bottom of the foot stays horizontal to the floor when doing calf raises. I must admit, it is tougher & I think it helped me a lot.

Anyway, no I don't do that on calf raises. I try to push with my big toes since I have obvious imbalances in my ankles, could be from how the right one healed after I got hit my a car & severed a bizzone & I had reconstruction & all that fun stuff. :D I also walk on the outsides on my feet often, you can't TELL but you can see it in the way my shoes wear down.

SO with that said, lol way TMI here, when you pose in heels your HEELS should be together in the shoes, I was mimicing the stance, or trying to without the heels. :)

I haven’t taken the max dose for D root the past two days. Forgot them. Last night was my reward meal, I had Mexican, it was good. My knee feels better today, I popped 2 Ibpro before & after workout. Kept Legs light & controlled, easy leg day…makes me want more. I SHOULD go back to the gym tonight for Back & post delts but we’ll see .. I have to reschedule some things to fit in YPT on Wed. am’s. Other than that, II feel great. I see the sun … I wanna be outside :rolleyes: … so TGIMMF!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D:);):spin::elephant: Have a great weekend!!!

– No weight / various reps throughout workout to peep form in mirror
- Bar (45) / 10 reps
- Bar + 10 (55) / 10 reps
- Bar + 20 (65) / 10 reps
- Bar + 30 (75) / 8 reps
- Bar + 40 (85) / 8 reps


Leg Press
– Sled (125) / 10 both legs + 5 each leg + 10 both legs
– Sled + 90 / 20 reps
– Sled + 140 / 15 reps
– Sled + 190 / 12 reps


Calf Press
– Sled (125) / 20 reps (2 pulses in b/w each rep … burned OMG) X 4

***This was done ON MY TOES .. during L10-15, for the entire 60 seconds, lats flared, abs IN & focused on breathing, I probably looked funny but I don’t care, GREAT training for posing IMO.

Hey everybody. I hope you all are enjoying the weekend. :)
I had a great back / delt workout today, super'd calves in there, then PWO intervals. Walk to & from gym was NICE & enjoyable. Been icing my knee with frozen veggies while chill with my moms & puppies (babysitting my bros choc lab & well as samson.) I'm walking around in the heels all cheerleader faced & my mom is just laughing her @$$ off. :D

Anywho, I had a mineral wrap done today which was pretty cool... detoxifying purposes. I am def. a fan. :)

I'll be journaling my training & fit daying my diet as usual but I am not going to be posting as often. My focus next few weeks needs to be on work & other things I have neglected.

Be back soon. :rose::heart: with more progress pics I'm sure :rolleyes: ...

No worries HiDn...

I cannot believe I am about to say this, but all morning this indecisive Libra said to herself, "There is NO WAY you can miss Joe's wedding...".

Sassy always gives great advice & one of those things was to have a back up show date... that COULD be the Ironman in December IN the city. At this time I do not know, I am really sick to my stomach.

Paid for my NPC card.

I already bought 20 tickets for the show in Nov. (AM/PM show)

I already paid for my suits (OMG are they going to be beautiful).


There are NO refunds on the tickets. I already asked the venue host. I am keeping the suits because I WILL use them one day.

Suffice to say this has been poor planing on my part.

Lemme tell you a little something about Joe. Our fathers worked together back in the day & we had no idea of that when we became so close... our last names caught the ear when we would talk about each other to our families... now we know why.

While we were both enjoying the fruits of having new boy/girl friends, like some friends do, we fell out of touch. Do you know what brought us back together? Cancer. Yup, at the same time when I was getting sick, unknowingly to one another, he was recovering from cancer that hit him out of the blue, while I was in a hospital bed with NO ONE able to tell me wtf was wrong with me.

THAT conversation was one for the record books...
Me - "HEY YOU how the heck have you been?!?!"
Him - "YOU are NEVER going to guess what I've been through..."
Me - "Oh yeah, I think I may just be able to top ya ... you go first..."

You can imagine the utter shock & amazement as we told each other that we both got sick, what happened, etc...

I HATE making a commitment & NOT following through...

I will sit here & beat myself up about it, but I cannot do that ....

The old Amanda would ALWAYS put her friends first no matter what, sacrificing MY happiness to see others smile ...

"Do this for me" ... I could not possibly go through with this show knowing that I wasn't being there for a friend, a VERY special, UNIQUE friend who I can say KNOWS first hand what so many others in my life can never fathom. Ever.

I apologize a hundred times over for going back on my commitment. In this situation there is no way I would not feel selfish if I missed one of the most memorable days in his life, because honestly, he may only have 'one' chance at this ...

I'm sorry. I have to go train.:rose:
