What up dawg!? :) heehee:FRlol: I had a good morning when I was running. I am kinda bummed b/c 2 accounts cancelled b/c they didn't have any $$ to pay their bill. To boot, I may lose my largest account I have on the books b/c the competition under cuts our pricing by BIG #'s and there is nothing I can do about it. I can pay these peoples bills or tell them how to run their biz, so I have to not think of it as time wasted, move on, let them go, and try to find more accounts to replace them. It stinks :( Oh well, whaddyagonnado ... :whatever:

LOL No suga ... I wish ... beautiful day, cool breeze, not too hot & sun not that strong :) Cardio was great this morning. Excellent weather .. almost purrrrrfect :) Sprints were tough but I had to force myself to NOT do 10 more.

Trying to figure out my split. 21 days, 3 FULL weeks TODAY since I picked up a weight ... WOW ... I cannot WAIT to get my bf done next week so I can see where I'm at (more concerned with the mm's & LBM really).

My feet are still taped, Day 2 of 3 almost complete. The tape is waterproof & I was able to shower & do cardio fine with it on. I even forgot it was on during my A.M. workout. I am not feeling better as the days go on, but I am not worse (re: post acupuncture & possible adverse reaction to it) so I'm happy about that :)

Less than an hour & a half to go :D :elephant:

Workout Rating: 9 - 1st workout in 3 full weeks of 'break' from weights ... lift #'s down a little but not too much & I did what I could for 10 reps, and minimal food :rolleyes: <-- I use to train on empty & push heavy weight so that is no excuse for me. Felt great ... now I just gotta figure out my split. I think I'm going to stay with a 3 day this 'week' then figure out my split. I have a 4 day I am working on ... we shall see :D
Mental Day Rating: 7 - Great day since I worked out... rest of the day was blah & really sad it's already Sunday (basically) ... NOT looking forward to work, as if that is anything new
Bod Rating: 6 - I am having total issues with the mirror. It was AWESOME to see me pumped at the gym & some definition hitting my bicep curls but I'd be lying if I said I was 100% happy with the way I looked right now. The acne does NOT help at ALL ... cleanse the body ... please ... It will get better ...
Overall Day rating: 7 - Not a bad day at all ... Not much else to report . I was a calzone but can't have one & my appetite sure came back today :D

For me, pizza craving always meant that I needed some extra fat (all the olive oil, plus the mozzarella, plus extra toppings are usually fatty, too). Ahhh, pizza *sigh* I haven't had a decent pizza since I came down gluten intolerant ...

A toasted cheese sandwich with tomatoes and olive oil might fix you up :D

When I'm having a REALLY hungry day and craving some super fatty stuff, I make a lowfat "taco salad" (no tortilla chips) I heat browned, drained ground meat and brown rice in some good crushed tomatoes, then chuck THAT overtop of a salad that has a little (like an ounce) cheddar or monterey jack cheese grated into it, VERY satisfying! I happen to like the combo of hot/cold, adds interest.

I'm on a relatively higher carb diet though (45%) so it might not work for you :(

(still better than pizza :lmao: )

THANK YOU btw. :rose: I thougnt I may as well try it for a week to get back into the swing of things, while making little adjustments here & there :) I kinda feel like I'm in w/o limbo right now, but hey, at least I'm doing 'something' ... Oh & I LOVE those meditations ... thought I'd post some at random as often a I can ...some really hit home, & when they don't for me, may as well try to help others...story of my life :rolleyes:

Hey thanks musclemom!!! Great suggestions there! I am not on a specific diet at this time, I am just trying to eat & not get sick (moreso the feeling of wanting to :sick: ) I touched on it a bit in my last thread & it's still lingers around from time to time (kinda like now) but if I am hungry I try to eat (right now anyway, when I am 'cutting' it will be tight & clean, i'm just trying to eat). In the meantime I decided to try a hollistic approach to address my issues, some of which I did not & will not post up about (more stress, tension & depression related), and my Chiro/Acupuncture doc said to detox for a week, not to eat/drink anything with caffeine, raw or rough, sweet, etc. like cake cookies soda raw veggies (steamed) or raw nuts (I use ANPB), so we'll see what he said next week when I see him. I figure pizza doesn't have caffeine & is soft :evil: :D :FRlol: & I want it :D I KNOW it's not the most healthy of choices but oh well. Last 7 - 8 days I have even clean as ya can (in my mind) and still feel lingering nausea & other 'symptoms' associated with what's going on with me. (No I'm not prego lol)

Anyway, sorry for the novel ... I don't have the supplies in my house to make what you suggested, but it sounds yummy. Normally I try not to keep things like that laying around here :D Thank you for awesome suggestions though!

I'm going to take a walk to the pantry down the street I think, maybe get some eggs.

Hey Treil! I was reading in your log about your trip & I am drooling over here. I WANNA GO TO ITALY (for one) DANNGIT! Vel!! :velvett:

First of all thank you for asking about my health :rose:...

Physically I am good. I was little tender in my Gluteus Medius/Minimus area & generally speaking Adductors/Hamstrings but nothing proper stretching couldn't get rid of, plus 1st day or training after the 3 weeks of not hitting all these dang musckles, I welcome it :) I never 'get sore' though, really really sore from training, only time I remember is a few days after 1st Leg day of Shadow Project, I was walking so funny & couldn't sit on the toliet seat... I distinctly remember a comment in my log about being rode hard & put up wet or something :lmao: but after that, NOTHING ... until I popped the sprinting cherry & decided to run stairs lol (circa Training Partner time) :) hahahahahaha ... THAT was fun!

My neck is still stiff, I am still tensing my shoulders, unconsciously rolling my shoulders forward & hunching ... I adjust, sit up straight *popity pop pop pop*, roll neck from side to side *pop pop* & start all over again with holding proper posture. It's so annoying. ( I did it 3 X already that I was able to catch just proof reading this :rolleyes: )

After taking the tape off my feet, it felt like when I use to have my ankle taped in soccer, or when you remove an ace bandage or Band-Aid ... the skin can breath... again no sense of noticeable relief other then minor things here & there. But that can easily be written off as positive feelings associated with finally weight training after 21 days off, gratification from finally having an appetite & not only being able to keep foods down without getting sick or feeling sick but eating foods not conducive to my regular diet (i.e way of eating) & no subsequent feeling like I was hit by a truck, no soar stomach, no fever, no chills, no :sick: etc… (little test yesterday of throwing in a cheat after 8 days of eating hella clean [for me], also helped nip some cravings in the bud, both emotional & physcial, all while serving as a medium for a mini allergy experiment :D 3 birds = 1 stone = works for me )

Every day is a rough mental day here. That’s all I’ll say about that. :rose:
 
i actually took off work thurs and fri so i was outside as much as possible b/c the weather was great for the first time here in a while...80 degrees and 0 humidy...great weekend...lotta sun!

caution: when lights turned off you can only see my teeth

Workout Rating: 9.5 - I did 5 Hills today! It woulda been a 10 if I didn't take so much time during cycles & ran both to & from the Hill during warm up & cooldown :D
Mental Day Rating: 7 - I was able to save one of the accounts I lost this month, after 5 pm of course lol, so that made it little better. Workout bumped it up a notch as well
Bod Rating: 7 - Other than the constant adjusting & cracking & popping I'm not 'sore' or achy or sick ... good day :)
Overall Day rating: 7.5 - I am NOT close to my 'normal' self but I'm steps WAY ahead of where I was.. that is always a good thing & tomorrow a new day :) :rose:

You are one brave woman! If I ate the pizza...O la la...then I'd be crying...I am such a woozie...You keep eating for me, and I'll try to do my HITT like yours...

My little experiments aside ... there is absolutely NO REASON you should NOT treat yourself once in awhile ... it can do MORE damage to you if you stay strict & clean for so long, that when you do 'indulge' your body rejects the food and you feel like CRAP.

This is not specifically directed at you Flor b/c I :heart: you, but it really is sad to see people beating themselves up about food. It’s not going anywhere, you need it to live & there are PLENTY of things in this world that are delicious and yes, it is OKAY to savor them once in a while, anyone who tells you any different has a screw loose, sorry.

For the average person trying to stay fit & live a healthy lifestyle, I completely think having a little something once a week is healthy not only for your mental state, but for your physical state. If at ANY TIME you beat yourself up about 'treating' yourself or feel 'guilty', a person REALLY need to adjust his/her way of thinking ... it is very UNhealthy ... Pick your poison. It could be a dessert choice, a nice hunk of meat, an awesome glass (or bottle) of wine, extra servings of your favorite ‘clean’ food, whatever ….

No reason NOT to enjoy the fruits of life … literally.

But that can easily be written off as positive feelings associated with finally weight training after 21 days off, gratification from finally having an appetite & not only being able to keep foods down without getting sick or feeling sick but eating foods not conducive to my regular diet (i.e way of eating) & no subsequent feeling like I was hit by a truck, no soar stomach, no fever, no chills, no :sick: etc… (little test yesterday of throwing in a cheat after 8 days of eating hella clean [for me], also helped nip some cravings in the bud, both emotional & physcial, all while serving as a medium for a mini allergy experiment :D 3 birds = 1 stone = works for me )

Every day is a rough mental day here. That’s all I’ll say about that. :rose:
Hmmm.... So no real noticeable anything from the accupuncture. My friend's sister had it done and it helped her to get pregnant (miracously said the doctors). So... maybe it will take some time?!?! I dunno... Never had it done.

I always seem to be able to make myself sore.. unless I get bored with training and start getting worn out, because I just don't focus and when I don't focus I don't feel it.

I agree with the cheats also... I just need to control them a bit more and get invited to less functions!!!

I am happy to report that I have a 90 minute deep tissue massage :heart: this saturday with a Salt Glow :) Mineral exoliation afterwards... :D woohoo! I need some pampering & and relief, for the end of this week will be a very stressful time at work ( I find out if I lose my highest paying account to forces which I have no control over) ... SO , I'm going to need it, b/c in my head I already lost it ... (I am not setting myself up for failure, simply if you had a price 20K cheaper than MY BEST, what would you do? Such is life ...)

For the average person trying to stay fit & live a healthy lifestyle, I completely think having a little something once a week is healthy not only for your mental state, but for your physical state. If at ANY TIME you beat yourself up about 'treating' yourself or feel 'guilty', a person REALLY need to adjust his/her way of thinking ... it is very UNhealthy ... Pick your poison. It could be a dessert choice, a nice hunk of meat, an awesome glass (or bottle) of wine, extra servings of your favorite ‘clean’ food, whatever ….

No reason NOT to enjoy the fruits of life … literally.

O f course I do enjoy treats...Maybe too many!!!! LOL...I think I do eat my healthy food in a higher quantity than go out and have ice cream... You know what is a compldte killer for me? Fresh made tortillas...UFFF and here in Guadalajara ...the tortilla shops are in almost every corner...you see them on their machine gliding through as saying "have me have me"...LOL kind of like in Life is beautiful movie..."VOLTA VOLTA"...if you have not seen it...please rent it! :)

My bed, when I DO sleep in it is like sleeping on clouds, no joke ... :) The only way I could get up was my alarm on my phone & sometimes popping 2-3 Cardio Breeze (at least during the week) but I cannot have any specific caffeine (soda or pills or stims for at least a week) .. the little treat with the chocolate was FINE with me :) AND my phone is kinda broke. The one I want is $400 so I can't really afford it right now ... maybe after this paycheck but I'll see where I'm at after I pay all my bills ... PLUS I am about to lose my largest commission'd account after just talking to the guy ... :( Booooo ... oh well, nothing I can do ...

I was able to manage a ~20 min jog this morning so I feel pretty good. We all have bad days, weeks and sometimes even months ... but positive reinforcement sure does help .... so take a moment to give yourself a pat on the back once in a while & as weird as it may be, think about 5 things you really like about yourself and that make you happy, especially when you are down or not feeling well. :rose:

I know we all have bad days....But they may only be bad from our perspective, by our own standards!! Maybe we have to learn something that day, and the only way to see beyond ourselves is by slowing down...GOD has greta plans for all of us, even fitness is in his schedule. He is a great guy, he made this world for us to enjoy and have a jolly good time! LOL...He never thought Adam was going to ruin it for us and have problems because of him...No need to blame the women guys...LOL LMAO....I am not a saint...LOL you know THAT...but c'mon lets get past those cloudy days because the sun is always shinin!!!Just like us... :heart: :rose: :kiss: :idea: :twirl: :friends: All those perty faces have a meaning!!! YUP! Funny how that works eh? You gotta flip the script & break the pattern. Could be a life long process but hey, I try to a little bit everyday ... baby steps ... it's easier when you distance yourself from people who bring you down though, that's for sure. Now when it's your own self bringing you down, that's who you have to face head on b/c they ain't going anywhere :):D
