She called me up and said, "XXXXX, I just want to tell you that you are the funniest person I have ever known and I am so glad you work here." Very sweet lady that I have worked closely with. I need that too, cause the overworked/underpaid bug has been fucking with me. Hope you peeps work in a fun environment, cause I can't imagine not working in one.

sometimes a nice pat on the back is all you need for motivation. Unfortunately for me, my boss does not understand the concept of positive reinforcement (incentives), whether it be money, time off or just a simple "good job".
