So we got an ultrasound yesterday.

We weren't expecting to, we were just expecting an introductory visit with the doctor. Her mom is a nurse at this doctor's office - so she was there the whole time. The doctors says he wants an ultrasound to see just how far along she is... he says 6 weeks and 1 day.

He even showed us that the baby already has a heart-beat which is nuts... they normally don't that early. That is a good sign. You have a 20-25% of mis-carriage, but once the baby has a heart beat that drops to less than 2%.

They did have a little marker on the picture though that measured the length of the embryo...
