520 Deadlift PR

Good lift. The only tweaks I would make is try to use more leg drive off the floor. This keeps your back from burning out near lockout. Alot of people use too much back and struggle at lockout.

agree with this

you're using mostly back and not much legs. you should have someone who is CSCS certified clean up your form. You will be a force to reckon with then
 
True true, my friend making the video said the same thing. I know I'm supposed to be pushing at the start and pulling at the end of the lift. However I treat the entire lift as a pull which I know is holding me back.

I am starting Coan Philipi this Tuesday and in the early weeks when the DL weight isn't too heavy I'll really be focusing on activating my legs more than my lower back.
 
i didn't realize how bad my form was off with squats and deads until I worked with a trainer. Makes a big difference. You look good though, and hey at least you're not like everyone else in the gym just doing upper body lol
 
College gym, they put in five new powerrack/platform combos the beginning of my Freshman year, could not ask for a better gym.
