Hi guys! New to bodybuilding...just started last year so I still learning a lot of things.
This January I hurt my back doing deadlifts. I wasn't doing a heavy weight, but I just did too many. I kept my back neutral, however I believe that I didn't activate my glutes and it strained some muscle. I also had very tight hip flexors and a weak core so all of those things played a role in the strain.
I kept re-injuring it by trying to start too quick again with core work, and every time I would go back to the same dull ache in my low back. Been to many doctors and they all say it's just a strain, and not a big deal but I basically can't workout or else the pain goes back to being very dull and I feel weak. MRI's and x-rays indicate no herniation or bone movement of any type. Physical therapy has helped to some degree, and I am with minimal pain at the moment, but I know that if I did any workout that used back muscles, I would flare up with pain again.
I was wondering if it would be ok to use IGF-1 lr3 to help heal up my back faster. I know that at my age, increasing HGH is slightly pointless and could mess things up for me in the long run, however would it be ok to use IGF1-lr3 for a month and see if it helps at all?
I also looked at tb-500, but the cancer talk kind of scared me away.
Anyway, have any of you guys dealt with pain like this before? Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated!
