In light of the email scandal of all those scientists that doctored all that data to fit their global warming agenda, the most im going to believe is humans have only slightly contributed to the earths climate change and its really nothing to worry about since we havent been on earth near long enough to draw any meaningful conclusions anyway. Shit, weve only been measuring climate for about 150 years, jacksquat in geological time. Thats like saying i have a fever today and panicking over it.
By the way has any of those geniuses studied the goddamn sun for possible contributing factors to global warming? No? Thats right because if it was proved that the sun was causing GW we cant tell it to pipe down and change its lifestyle for the planet like we can to evil americans who are supposedly ruining the planet.
Remember the gulf oil spill? Whatever came of all the doom and gloom from that?
Man is insignificant and its the height of arrogance to suggest we hold the fate of this planet in our hands when our time on this planet is but a blink of an eye.

You robs don't understand...it ain't about warming it's now know as "climate change"....warmer or cooler, hurricanes or blizzards..predictions based on data don't matter anymore...everything is now global climate change and requires every American to revert to subsistence agriculture before we're all engaging in cannibalism within the next twenty years.

Even assuming the predictions are accurate, mitigation might be the most cost effective measure as opposed controlling CO2 which is a lost cause at this point...China has already exceeded the US consumption of fossil fuels and has no intention of curtailing their growth.

Don't get me started on the data collection problems and the computer models used to make these climate change predictions.

The whole "climate gate" thing is problematic because they destroyed their original data, even in physics 101 I had to submit all my original data with the rest of my lab report...

A lesson can be learned from astronomy and history...the generally accepted theory of the "steady state" theorists used to ridicule the "big bang" theorists...they actually coined the term because it was such a ridiculous theory; With time and the advancement of tools allowing humans to more accurately assess the world around them....well....

no, nobody is saying that greenhouse gasses are making earth cooler. increased global temps do cause climate change with some regional variations in what that entails, but the essence of this is still that global temps are rising
