2 things re: Cali drivin

1) NOBODY honks their horn. It's like nothing I have ever experienced. I honked a few times the 1st week I was here and felt like a complete douchefuck. It's really really nice.

2) At a busy intersection with lights, when one side has green and the cars in front of them are backed up to almost the middle of the intersection - the cars that have green will actually WAIT until the backed up line starts moving until they cross!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like an alternate universe where people actually respect others and aren't completely selfish assnozzles.

No worries, I'm headed back to NYC tomorrow for a month, so the East Coast prick will come back quick style!

or people that pull their car all the way into the crosswalk when making a right turn on a red.

and then they notice cars coming - and now can't turn right, but now BLOCKING the path of oncoming pedestrians.

easiest way to piss people off who are forced to walk into the intersection just to get around your car.

when people see me stop at the curb, then look to make a right - they get annoyed. jesus. i'll turn right when it's safe. and if a car is blocking me and ic ant see - i won't turn. that's how the law is.
