here's how i see things happening...
medic and you become friends, you chat, your wife knows, its cool.
medic talks to you about some man troubles- one that isn't treating her right or she's having a hard time finding one and you talk to her about what a real man should be like and how happy you are with your wife. again, your wife is cool with that.
medic says "why can't i find a man like YOU?" and you are, of course, flattered.
There is talk of threesomes. you are imagining a wonderful life where you are the center of two women's universes.
Medic has more trouble with men, cause none are as wonderful as you. you say you don't see why such a sexy woman is having so much trouble. she says she's not sexy. you say 'yes you are. I showed my wife your pics and she thinks your sexy.' Medic offers to show you more pics, but says she's embarrassed. she says these are just for you, ok? cause you know, you're her best friend and all.
you get the pics, you talk to her, you have feelings for her, hardly any of which do you have to hide from your wife besides the few pics cause she knows all about it, except for the fact that you've developed a crush on your little friend.
BUT, somewhere in the back of her mind, she realizes... wtf? this isn't so cool anymore... she's moving in on my man. and your wife makes liiiiiiiiiiittle comments. like "has medic worked it out with her bf yet?... doesn't it seem odd that she has so much man trouble?" or "gosh she calls a lot... doesn't she have a life besides us (you)?"
you start resenting those comments. you or medic suggest meeting. after all, you are best friends now. so now you have a dillemna... do you meet her with your wife and possibly have the threesome, or do you meet her alone that first time... try her yourself and THEN see about the threesome. You decide to meet her alone, but tell your wife you're going to. she trusts you, and says ok but its not ok at all.
and the trouble has started.
