....I stand corrected - this thread is for figure.....

They stated last year that they want 20% softer look but from what I've seen in the judging that is pretty much bullshit so far. You won't see any FBBs with mega striated glutes any more but the look they are still giving the pro cards to is NOT more feminine and the trophies at the pro levels are still going to the last of the old school hard core girls.

It will take a transition period and it varies from show to show, but I'm all for tps staying in BB. I think you totally personify beauty & muscle!

BTW, that quad teardrop.... to die for....
 
I haven't read through your whole journal,..but I have a quick question...what 2 shows did you do? And now your going to Jr. Nationals? Congrats, you look awesome (and you would kick ass in figure too...) I am definitly going to read through your journal and get some tips...

2nd ironman in syracuse
next rochester and jr nationals...all npc.
 
me too! im sooo freaking jacked! legs are coming in awesome..my trainer has me hitting then really hard ....

You listed 2 shows you are doing -- the Jr Nats and another one before the Jr Nats??? I was wondering how you are holding up and what is the repeated "last week" regimen looking like? Are you modifying the water manipulation and /or is it still responding? I've heard that each time if you use a diuretic, even just an OTC, they don't work as well the next time around if its very soon after the previous time.
 
i just started working with someone new after my last show..hes an ifbb pro and trainer to one of my best friends. i am not goign to do any b6 for next weekend or any of the like. saving it for jrs if i need it. i know my diet stays as is til wed and water starts to drop after that. ill see how he gets me ready fo r next weekend, then we can change things if we need to. hes going to be at both shows so he can see what i need to change 1st hand. my leg training now is ext and curls only 8 sets of 20 every other day. talk about burn! cardio is 30 mins on an empty stomach.

How long have you been doing this w/ your legs? I'm thinking of switching something up cuz I've been having trouble getting my legs to cut. I know it really comes down to diet/more cardio...but are you seeing good results w/ this routine? I currently only train my legs once a week.
