I hear quite alot of people and even pts that doesnt incorporate failure in the sets, maybe eery 4th week or so.
other than that, alway train so u are 2-3 from failure.
how important is failure when on cycle?
You should follow a program of course.
Poliquin's Training is a Russian version of training that uses large amounts of sets where falue is inforced differently
if u ever review some of his programs,
they are like 10 sets of 15 pullups.
10 sets of DB flys..so on ..because the muscle memory can kick in and really shock. This method is ignoring alot of theory and using muscle memory WITHIN the workout before recovery to replenish abilities and continue to hammer fibers.
it depends on what training/science ur using
U always wanna do 2 falure. But metal falure and physical falure can be argued. More over u will want to push ur sets hard but if falure resides at 12 instead of 10 ya shoot for that in your workout but also consider how fatigued u become from this.
you want to hit ur muscles from various angles and u dont want to be fatigued after ur first set of "FALURE" keep in mind ur deff. of falure and mine is diff.
I would say workout like an artist
Prime
Paint(falure)
prime paint.,..
ur setting up urself to be shocked!
there is not wrong way to slice it. Just dont over train so u cant use ur arms the next day. u wana be sore but u GOTTA BE ABLE TO RECOVER QUICKLY!!!!!!!!
keep this in mind when working out.
Test levels dont matter its diff for everyone, chances are u will recover fast. but chances are ur intensity and "finding the muscle" will be better to. Use ur mind close ur eyes.
