I love training my biceps and getting that really good pump!!!!!!
I hate training my legs. I always dread leg day. For some reason I am just bored w/it. Any good suggestions on overcoming this?
Crazy as it may sound, I LOVE training all body parts!! I just love the way I feel when I'm done. The rush and the pump are worth it to me. I look forward to getting up at 4am to hit the gym at 5. I'm actually bummed when I'm done.
But if I had to pick my favorite, I have to say Legs, then back. I always have a kickass leg day.
Where have you been, Mommalu?
Good to see you.
And what is your least favorite bodypart to train?
Are there any bodyparts you avoid training?
I LOVE training back, dead lifts and heavy rows.
I really don't like training biceps and I avoid forearms.
Borderline masochistic with them. Least favorite bodypart is the same as your's. I dread curls.Thighs. I love squats. I go deep, slow, and heavy. I like savor every second of it.Borderline masochistic with them. Least favorite bodypart is the same as your's. I dread curls.
What is your leg workout now?
I really like working arms, makes me feel "macho"I have been tacking on one or two arm exercises at the end of workouts when the muscle is already pre-exhausted, so at the end of back, I will do biceps.
Gironda/body drag curls are far more tolerable for biceps, and I also quite like the hammerstrength preacher curl bench.
Other than that, for biceps, retch.
Someone also suggested to go a lot heavier on biceps, it does make it a bit better.
I do the same thing for triceps on chest day, but I like training triceps.
Not too crazy about triceps but they respond for me really well, better than the biceps, in fact. I really like working arms, makes me feel "macho"Not too crazy about triceps but they respond for me really well, better than the biceps, in fact.
For least favorite ... legs. Don't respond for beans and between my spinal problems, and limited equipment since I work from home, I can't really work them heavy. I've actually thought about joining the YMCA just to have access to a sled.
Tat, what is a Gironda Curl? I've googled it and have conflicting responses.
I start off w/ 4 sets of leg extensions, then 4 sets of leg presses, 4 sets of hack squats
I finish w/4 sets standing calf raises & 4 sets seated calf raises
Nothing for your hamstrings?
I find stiff leg dead lifts are amazing for hamstrings and glutes.
German volume training
I'm a guy, and i guess i'm nontradtional as i love working legs and back, personally i love working them together but i can't do it all the time because supersetting those two causes me to get lightheaded and pass out
