Steroids and baseball......enough already!

I agree, I'm sick and tired of seeing congress interrogate everyone. Who gives a fuck, we have better things to do right now than worry about which ball player took a lil juice.

What congress doesn't realize is that steroids aren'ta miracle drug. The players taking them are still working harder than those that aren't. It's not like you can take some primo and just start knocking balls out of the park.

Actually, that's not true.

If you are an elite level player like these guys, that extra boost in strength and power is all takes for that deep fly ball become a homerun.

As a guy who knows many baseball players, and was one myself, I can say that teh jooz helps more than you would think. Especially for a power hitter like McGwire or Bonds.

Instead of bitching about the roids these guys are on... why dont the fucking congressmen regulate how much these fucking monkeys make.. monkey throw baseball, monkey hit baseball, monkey make a shit load of money. and the monkey isnt racist so dont hammer me on that lol. Heres an idea lets take the money from the players and give it to the teachers who dont get paid dick. The hundreds of teachers who are about to loose there jobs. The teachers who arent going to be there to teach our kids of tommorow. There is so much more we could do with this money. But hey These guys work harder than the rest of us so they diserve what they get. I mean who doesnt need a lambo bmw mercedes caddy and a million fucking other cars. Ok im done......

You misunderstood me. I meant that congress thinks that any joe blow can take some AAS, and just start knocking ball out of the park. Yes, it does give them a slight edge, but these "elite" players as you said are already phenomenal players and have busted their asses to get where they're at. It's not like if MLB starts giving primo to all the pitchers they're actually going to start hitting balls out of the park. lololol

also, you ca't say that guys like McGwire, or Bonds started taking juice, and then said, "fuck it, I no longer need to train or practice cuz i'm on teh jooze!" I guarantee they still busted their asses harder than everyone else.

But at the end of the day, it's really none of the US congress' business. IMO they have way more important shit to be doing than worrying about petty shit like this.

i am also very tired of fucking hearing about it. i make sure i vote on all the espn polls that i dont give a fuck about steroids whenever possible.

Well, of course they continued to train hard. I can almost guarantee neither McGwire, Sosa nor Bonds would have hit 62+ without teh jooz.

Imagine if Hank Aaron had juice. He would have hit 950 homeruns instead of 754.

You know I have to agree with ever post on this thread. Our country is going down the drain very fuckin quick and our priorities are severly out of order. I hate that it's made me have to sound this way but there are always alterior motives behind everything. I'm seriously thinking on moving to another country. I bout hade my fill of everything. Any one have any suggestions on where to move.lol.

for all we kno he did prob take something, who are we to say he did or didnt take anything.

I have to disagree with you here buff. That deep fly ball is from lack of contact more than lack of power. Take away the juice and homerun thats went 460ft would only go 410-420. Decipline at the plate is why Bonds was successful, not juice.
I played ball at the college level for 4 years. One of those years I was on the juice. Other than the fact that it helped me recover and hit well contact balls farther, I noticed that after I stole 2nd, my calves were pumping so hard it kept me from stealing 3rd. haha

***Now if the deep fly fall is because the hitter was fulled with off speed and out on his front foot (power only coming from hands), then yes, the juice could turn a few of them into home runs. Bust lets face it, how many times did Bonds get fooled? I don't think taking juice from Bonds would take balls out of McCovey Cove and make them routine fly balls.

There are plenty of instances where someone makes solid contact with the ball and the angle of projection is too high to carry out of the park and lands 20 ft from the fence. Give it an extra 30-50 ft of oomph from th eextra power from teh jooz and it's a HR for sure.
