in school i was always really short at 5'7. they said i shouldnt of even played football freshman year. i ended up leading our frosh team in sacks. ever since then i learned to LOVE lifting.
started with cleans and squats. i would spend hours upon hours working on them. coaches saw it and sometimes didnt understand (one day sophomore year i spent 4 hours powercleaning 1 reps until i finally got up 155lbs. although i got screwed over in football and ended up quitting (long story) i ended up helping a shitload of people.
i saw my old jv coach at a grad party, and he told me what i did in the weight room was amazing. i had a gift, and i should use it. how i became stronger than people twice my size, how i didn't miss one workout in 15 months. that was dedication.
learning to excel and help everyone and every kid out there with their form. channeling my anger into the weights and getting rid of all the stress and anxiety i have by working my ass off. the confidence you get from transforming yourself in the gym and the looks people give you after the dedication and time you take to diet and do everything. thats what the gym does for me. without the gym i wouldn't know what to do. love you bros, and all the good people out in the world today that help others and make this world a better place.
