Got into a car accident today!!!!!

me and my girl were driving down to the dunkin donuts was stoped at a light, and the biggest fucking towing mac truck hits us in our little honda civic from the back and crushes half the car, my back and neck are fucked up, hit my head on the steering wheel... i can smell lawsuit and $$ coming!

document EVERYTHING. the pain, how you feel, who you talked to at what company and what time. Buy a notebook JUST for that. I had a lawsuit once and my lawyer told me that- best advice ever. You think you'll remember things, but you won't.

+100000000 Documentation is the key in a lawsuit. Very detailed documentation, with dates. Keep all documents in a folder too, just for it. I went through a four year lawsuit for different reasons. But dude, it's all the same. Keep records and such. That's why the guy has insurance, and being a tow truck guy, he has good insurance. Do it up!

sorry guys been busy, not much on here last couple days... Well the tow truck company insurance said i would have to pay for any medical specialist i go see myself, and they told me it was 160 dollars a visit each, so that is over 300 dollars for one visit, and the treatment consists of going 4-5 days a week to get therapy... so tomorrow i have an appointment with lawyer, and a chiropractor on Friday that was referred to us by our new lawyer witch made them understand very clear they will get paid once the insurance settles with us... So we will find out more what else is going on tomorrow once we speak with lawyer

If you think you are up to it, attempt to negotiate a settlement with the insurance company without an attorney. All an attorney is going to do is ask for a little more, and get a 33% cut. It is such a scam.

Keep records of everything, medical records, lost wages etc. and then play hardball with the insurance company. If that doesn't work then get an attorney.
