My Old Grump is of the same opinion... From what I understand when a man finds a good woman that is their general consensus.
You have a heart of gold and I am thinkin that is prolly one of the characteristics you have that she values most.

And the fact he's thinking about banging some other chick, or atleast talking about it is a bad sign too.
Having been married to a woman that didn't really like sex I stupidly thought well when she gets older she will like it more. Guess what she didn't. I have had great sex with many girls and couldn't believe that one wouldn't turn around. It turned into major resentment. I still can't believe I was stupid enough to marry her knowing she didn't really like sex. If he needs sex there is no way the marrage will work. I hope it does but my reality tells me differently.
Why some woman turn to not liking sex is a mystery to all, I think it has to with peoples changes and not staying in a level of communication that keeps each other together emotionally. I am with my GF now for 2 years and I feel for her more that I did and it keeps growing we spend alot of time together and when we aren't we still communicate via text or IM. Our sex life is outstanding I feel because we are both commitied to caring for each other not just gratifying each other but in casual caring conversation, listening and asking questions and being there for each other.
