My dealersships are off in revenue ! Whos elses industry is suffering?

That's rather odd :faint:

It isn't, spend 1.2 Mil to upgrade a system that works for now. I supported software that ran on over 300 tier two suppliers systems. Guess what, I had to modify code because one idiot was running his multi million dollar business on a second hand e-machine that cost him $300.00. It used a virtual modem and our software required a hardware modem($75.00 for a decent one back then), that was back in 2000. IT is the first thing cut...

You couldn't pay me enough to work in the crap that is IT. It's worse than high school drama x100. Not to mention it's fucking boring.

I wonder if you could assume the mortgage on a bailout-eligible home then use the new legislation to renegotiate the principal and interest into a sweet deal.

Too much of a pain in the ass. Bank that have homes in REO now that is where the deals are. Just wait till the fed starts buying dead loans then they will dump the houses to the less fortunate and the neighborhoods will be going down hill!!!

Yeah, that makes more sense. Less court costs. Just buy a bargain and start with a sound mortgage.

Yes and the bank that owns the house will cut you a deal on the mortgage slash closing costs and pay for the appraisel. Plus they sometimes will give you 10k in FREE house stuff, like new carpet, paint, window coverings, sinks, faucets, lighting etc...

It is a lot of fun. But my boss at Merrill hated it, until he need some roof work done! LOL

For some reason it seems distasteful to me. And I have no idea why.

I'm normally long-term. Maybe it's the idea of buying something you know you'll sell quickly. Its definitely an emotional response. Being the capitalist pig I am it shouldn't bother me one iota.

Oh, the buzz associated with starting a new software project is insane. Now 2.5 years into it, when you can't figure-out why that object is using the wrong function even though you know damn well you cast it into the right subclass... that sucks!
