My own mother is a lifetime Dem and won't vote for Obama. She's not a bad person but she's ignorant, where I grew up 99% of the population is white. People are afraid of things different from themselves. One reason I promote military service is that I was exposed to so much diversity and realized people different from me were just like me but with a different upbringing and life experience. However, at the end of the day you can be attracted to one type of physical appearance or another without being racist. I've been with two black girls and they both fit the model of what I like...tits on a stick...they were both strippers.

I don't disagree, a preference does not make you racist but my mother grew up during the depression and she has those 1920's values.
