I am not the expert on this, but he provided health care for everyone, especially kids. He is bringing out troops home from Iraq. He stops people from being so racist showing that african americans can lead the nation just like any other races could.

1) No, he didn't (and won't) provide health care for everyone.

2) He did take $500B dollars from old people and transfer it to poor people.

3) His health care plan will either A) Ration care or B) Bankrupt the country. It's truly a case of either/or.

4) He's wrecked the job market for a very, very, very long time -- at least a generation.

And I'm all about a smaller government, let the capitalist economy act how its meant to and run itself and stop incentivising being lazy and mooching.

homeboy obama gave out some health insurance? last i knew i didnt quailify for any benefits...be nice to get some health insurance considering all these trash ass ghetto dwellers get food stamps health care paid for housing cash assistance...but since i go to work ill just die...its prob cause im jewish..obama doesnt love the jews :(

I think Obama is not doing well because most people are racist and have not given him a chance. He was set up for failure since day one because of his race. I would vote for him again.

Racism diminishes his accomplishments. He has accomplished a lot.

He won the war in Iraq. Took out Osama and is making good progress in Libya. Is almost done in Afghanistan. Millions of people would be out of work if it were not for the stimulus. He saved GM and Chrysler, saving millions of jobs. He has done wonders for inner cities too and given us hope for health care. People just ignore all of this and focus on the bad just because he is black. He doesn't get his fair deal with the media because the right wing controls all of it.

Just look at all of the negative posts in this thread! These people have been brainwashed by Fox News and can't think for themselves. They just regurgitate the negative news spread on the net. That may not be direct racism but it is implicit.

Obama made the call to do it. He didn't need too.

I remember all of the "Obama is a Muslim" BS and how he wouldn't be big on national security. BS. He proved everyone wrong just like he is today with his active leadership style. The man cant be held down. His record is crystal clear, indisputable.

Fact Obama was dropping like a rock in the polls. Fact Osama bin laden had been being hunted for years and was finally located. Obama did ok the strike but I think it was more for political positioning and relection strategy but the fact remains it was not Obama who actually lost sleep find and eliminate Osama, it was our intelligence and our military members who actually put the work in. In essence what could obama done not let them go ahead with the plan to get him ? Or ok it then stand up and shout to everyone how great I am for killing Osama ?


Obamas recovery package was full of wastefull spending. He bailed out companies with horrible business practices while at the same time not putting controls in place to prevent it from happening again or even ensuring the money went to creating jobs or restructuring. Do some research and you will see the millions of problems from bonuses to excs to buyouts of other companies with tax dollars. Forget fox news or any other station it's called facts and research.

Obama passed the finance legislation and it is doing wonders. It just takes time. Credit card companies and bankers who put Wall Street ahead of Main Street are paying for what they have done.

How are they paying ? With the bail out money they were given as part of the recovery act ? I hate to break it to you but increasing taxes will not fix what is broken which is what Obama wants. Look at California the most taxed state in the union and Also a haven for democrats continues to fail with unemployment rising business leaving and a unmaintainable budget. Their answer more taxes on business while welfare payout in California is among the highest in the nation.


Obama i would argue is actually Condemning future generations to worst poverty then you know with his Poorly timed health care over haul. We are in the worst financial crisis we have seen in so many years and he enacts a plan that will further bankrupt our nation.

Yes alot of problems were caused by bush but we aren't talking about bush we are talking about poor solutions to current problems we can take back the idiot that was bush we can only make informed productive decisions to counteract current events but that's not what Obama is doing he is making things worst

Honestly, the people that really control the gov't are all the horrible rich CEOs, etc. that you want to punish. You think they'll let anyone take 90% of their monies? They'll just take their money and leave if it goes that way. Yeah, that'll help everyone out. lol!

I have a family friend that is very wealthy and he worked fucking hard all his life until he was +70, at many points he had it so hard all his family would eat for weeks was PB&J sammiches and milk and sometimes just enough for the kids and not the parents, he kept going and made his own small empire and got rich and every year they take a disgusting amount of money from him... I cant imagine what it must be like... must suck and I'm sure all you bishes would choke a bish if they took your hard earned money....

My family came to California in the dust bowl and worked labor until they could save enough money to start a business this took two generations. I am the fifth generation and the company has become a great mid size Corp. My family still passes down the work ethic and traits of the generations before you have to start at the very bottom and prove yourself to non family managers to hard physical labor and dedication to education there are no hand outs I currently work 10-16 hours a day while going to college and I pay for everything myself. It makes me sick to see the level of self entitlement in our country last year we fought a bill at the state Capitol that would have increased taxes 10% on our product to give to the rainy day fund and colleges so illegals and low income people wouldn't have to pay for school.

Funny how you praised the bailout money which went mostly to the CEO's of those failed fucked up companies which they should have let go under and get bought out and reorganized into a profitable business yet want to turn back around and tax the same man 90% you gave it to. I wont hate on anybody for doing a good job and working hard to make as much money as possible as long as his actions make a successful company. I do believe that some companies as a whole should get less tax breaks but the main problem is that close to 40% of America doesn't pay taxes..in all tax brackets, so it falls on hard working Fckr's like me trying to raise a family to pick up the slack for these politicans short comings. Didn't several of Obama's people get I'm trouble for tax evasion and fraud and them nothing else was said or done. Health care is a whole other F'd up issue for so many reasons just like education.
Heading straight for socialism/communism cause when it becomes not worth working everybody will quit working and paying house notes(which a lot are doing now to process a point).

He's been a terrible president. He has no clue how to get the economy back on track, and his failed economic policies have caused the USA to recover much more slowly (if at all?) than other G8 nations.
 
History has a way of repeating itself we fought to gain our independence and rights from big government only to allow it to slip piece by piece back into the hands of big govt again.
It will continue until our backs are broken again and we get fed up with lying cheating big govt.
Something tells me things will get alot worst before they get better and mr. obama is only the tip of the ice berg that will sink our great nation.

We had many discussions at work about Obama being that our work is about 50/50 black/white. And half preferred Obama not because if what he did or stood for but because its about time a black man became president no matter what he does. Now the other half can't stand him and some are even nervous about where he has the country going. My girlfriend/babymamma(whose black) can't stand the guy....because she's intelligent and judges people by actions and words and not by their skin.

I see. My reasoning is they both expanded government significantly, on top of that esienhower backed up egypt and forced allies to turn back after being attacked. Well, you can have massively high income tax rates when you are the monopoly of production for the world. World War II and the 1945-1960's are an anomaly because the rest of the earths capacity had been destroyed through war. Hell, go back to WWI and look at economic growth in the United States while the dominant economic powers destroyed their economies through war....WWI heralded the rise of the United States as a world power. Kennedy was the first one to "stimulate" the United States economy by lowering taxes because Europe and Asia started to recover and compete.

100 hours of work grosses me 1760.00 after taxes I bring home 1024. I got back 800 on my refund I lose just shy of half of my earnings this does upset me especially when I then hear wall street excs get more money in one bonus then I will probably ever EARN from tax money I provided by the sweat and pain of my body. If this makes me a bitch so be it I know life ain't fair but come the fuck on do I need to be ass raped with a cactus on a kick start motor at least lube that shot up

We deal with the same shit; politicians are the same everywhere unfortunately. Our current gov't is vastly superior to the crapola you've got in the white house, but they only just recently got the majority they need to hack and slash ridiculous social programs.

You forgot again to tell the whole story brotha.... Europe was war torn after WWI. However, the US lended European countries a ton of money by which they stiffed us. Which led to one of the reasons why the Great Depression occurred. Actually, WWII heralded the U.S. as the top dog in the world. After, WWII, the US had 5% of the world's population and 50% of the world's wealth. Nice.... The reason why Europe was able to compete was the US was so gracious to rebuild it. Ie. The Truman Doctrine, The Marshal Plan. Those programs put Europe back on the map. Just Western Europe, Eastern was under the Soviet bloc. That was the reason Western Europe was able to recover and compete.

The U.S. also put Japan back on the map. China was a pure communist country, and basically the rest of Asia were third world countries. Hence, what were they competing for? The US was already basically controlling them, and controlling the Soviets. However, that is a whole other debate, which would take a while to explain.

No, Kennedy was not the first to stimulate the economy by cutting taxes. I already told you, Coolidge cut taxes in the 20's. The highest bracket was 24% the lowest was 0.5%. Hoover raised the top bracket to 60% then Roosevelt raised it to 73%.Truman and Ike sustained the hikes, then Kennedy cut taxes, and it wasn't that much. He lowered the top from 73% to 60%. Which did do some good.

As for Obama, its funny how a constitutional lawyer is our president, and does nothing but implement unconstitutional policies. He is not even worth talking about, I rather talk about trees....
