I've been on a very low sodium diet for 3 months and I've switched to a high sodium diet about 1 month ago
[I've kept the same calories intake and P/C/F %]

..... and I've not noticed any water retention with the high salt diet

I have quite a bit of sodium in my diet also (mainly from spices, meats, and milk) and do not bloat up. I find this is fine as long as I keep the types of carbs I eat under control.

are the carbs u've been eating been the same? lower carbs could be making up for the increase of sodium and keeping bloat relatively low.

Same carbs

And I really do think that carbs and fiber cen give you the "bloat water retention" look, way more than sodium

1g of carb can hold 4g of H2O

I think you are confusing intramuscluar and subcutaneous water retention.

Right, my mistake

Carbs = intramuscular
NaCl = subcutaneous water retention
