stretching before lifting

Yeah i think after you get a pump allowing more blood to enter the muscle does that. I do it with quads a lot.

i’ve heard that as well, but actually the study im referring to (sorry i couldn’t find a citation in my email) claimed it might be due to the xtra micro tears from stretching compounding the ones from the lift.

one study was in monkeys lol.

yes. coined extreme stretching with weights adding stretch. i did DC off and on 2015/16. 1 cycle (they are 6 weeks) in 2017 with great success to get over a hump (im a true hargainer). but now since i focus on muay thai a bit more, i cant. its too taxing on the CNS. i do hybrids or use rest pause for a weekly failure only now.
