sprints

Is It okay to do sprint intervals on non-leg training days? chest maybe??? assuming i get a good amount of protein post-lifting, then do sprints 30 mins later or so? anyone see this as being a prob?
 
No but usually when you begin sprinting muscles goes bye bye. Just like you said, make sure the protein is high and the fluids as well. It takesa lot of serious dedication to stay big and run.
 
hmm..i heard that the sprints were the best cardio for preserving muscle, what would you recommend?
 
I run sprints and long distance runs while weight training and keep my muscle.

Make sure you up your carbs a little on days you are going to run, eat a little just before and after. You have enough sugar in your bloodstream to run for about 20 mins or so at a moderate pace. After that your body will use fat or muscle as it is available.
