is it possible to actually get big off body weight exercises?

i know that dips and pullups can pack on serious muscle to your chest, tris , lats and bis. but can stuff like one legged squats, body weight squats, pushups and situps combined with pullups and dips actually make u big? ive always wondered this...
 
maybe "big" (assuming you have never lifted weights before). but it would have it's limitations because as we all know, to get "bigger" and then "HYOOOOGE", one would have to increase the workload (weight lifted) once the current weight becomes easy.

if you mean "bigger or stronger than average joe on the street", yes
"magazine cover size" no... well maybe shoulders, if you did handstand pushups.
 
yeah, strong was the word I would have used. Most elite level gymnasts can bench twice their bodyweight w/o having seriously benched before.
