ZMA and weird effects?

RealDeal

Here's the deal:

I started using ZMA regularly a week & 1/2 ago per instructions (3 caps 30-60 mins b4 bed) and up until 2 days ago I slept great. Starting 2 nights ago, taking the ZMA as usual, I woke up briefly a couple of times in the middle of the night and felt very dizzy while laying in bed. This happened again last night, but only once or maybe twice.

It seems very odd because I've not heard of it before, but I also don't know if I can attribute it to the ZMA. Don't know what else it could be tho, because only other things I'm taking are protein, creatine & glutamine and have never had any probs with those.

Anyone had similar experience or have any ideas?? It doesn't make me feel sick, just really dizzy when lying down! :(

Thanks bros.

yeah..

I have heard of others making the same claim. I started ZMA about 4 days ago, so far so good. It hasn't really improved mu sleep quality or anything. I smoke allot of weed and that tends to make you feel like crap when you wake up, maybe I'll quit for a week and see if that changes the ZMA effect...:fro:

Well, no shit man, lay off the weed...sure it doesn't help your workouts, but hey, everyone has their weaknesses. :)

Come on guys, with so many of you all taking ZMA has no one else had this same dizziness? Hell, or at least someone know what's causing it and know it's nothing to worry about.

I think I read somewhere that if you're injesting a lot of caffeine or high sodium foods that some people adding extra magnesium will suffer from higher blood pressure, hence the light headedness.

Watch your diet reduce trhe amount of salts in your food and /supplements and maybe these effects will subside.

just a viewpoint.:alien:

Are you serious?

If so, how did you come to that conclusion & where are you getting such information from?

It's zinc, magnesium & vit B-6. Are you speaking of a body's tolerance, toxicity, what? If you're gonna make such a general claim please back it up with your reasoning bro.

I can't see how ZMA c be dangerous if you follow the dosages recommended.

I think chillin is pulling everyones leg here - because in fact it does work ( on natural bodybuilders) to add some lean Mass to your frame.

Sorry, I was just joking. It was late at night, and I was bored, but I thought ZMA is a scam anyway for non deficient people and then even if someone is deficient, why would they buy ZMA and not a cheap multivitamin?

So what kind of growth can I expect with ZMA?

guys, ZMA will give you NO GAINS AT ALL unless you're zinc deficient....save your money for more creatine! or if you really want some natural boost in the testosterone route then try Tribex/Tribestan, not strong as andro but at least you get much harder dick and wont be as disappointed as spending ur hard earned money on ZMA

P.S. I'm not saying ZMA is totally useless, cuz some ppl get a strength improvement like something by ZMA (zinc deficient), but hey, most of us DO NOT!

okay, we have Edens viewpoint it could be true for many others - I'm not bashing this viewpoint.

However for bodybuilders that train naturally-I mean don't use AS or Prohormones then ZMA might just help add those few extra slabs of solid muscle they're looking for.

I came in at 189lbs 45"chest 16"biceps and 35" waist.

After supplementing my creatine, glutamine and methoxy blend with ZMA 6 weeks later I weighed in at

198lbs 16.7" biceps 32.5" waist 47" chest.

I think it could be useful but not to everyone , you'll have to give it a go if you're into training naturally.

It certainlly won't hurt to try!:alien: :alien: :alien:
