Your Max Bench, Dead, Squat ?

Thank goodness I do, or a 200 bench would be mighty embarassing. It's a single ply, so I don't feel TOO bad about it. ;)

What kind of shirt do you use?

That's what I have too. I've been trying to learn a DD here lately...I get SO much more out of the single ply shirt. That may not be the case after I really learn the shirt, but for now, when I get frustrated, I can throw the fury back on and momentarily restore my ego. :D

I tried a single denim once for fun and the fit seemed similar to what I was used to with the Fury, but it hurt a lot more and I didn't get anything out of it. Hope your learning goes well with yours :) I'll just have to stick with my old shirt.

Just read this whole thread again... lol out of all the huge numbers that some of the people on this board put up, i never thought my measly 235 bench would be questioned

Numbers

Squat - 685
Bench - 510
Deadlift - 715

6'2
305

All raw lifts done as close to competition conditions as possible. I have done a few meets but I haven't competed since 2000 and I am much stronger. Plus I hate squatting in competition, it takes all the fun out of it for me. Might do a "raw" comp or just not wear equipment in a full meet.

Right on Strengthfiend!!

I go raw at meets and always get strange looks from everyone. There are sure gonna be a lot of strange looks when I eventually take the 181's or the 198's raw. That would be so absolutely gratifying!!!

Nice goal to look forward to, along with an 800# DL @198.

There are more of us then someone might think. My training partner and I both feel this way and have talked to a lot of the other powerlifters at the gym about this issue. My feeling is the younger guys love the equipment because they love the big numbers, but don't realize that numbers are not everything. Having a good time and achieving something on your own is the best reward powerlifting gives a person.

Injuries suck, don't they?

Those are still solid numbers. Where do you live, exactly? We could use lifters like you in my neck of North Carolina :)

last PR's:
bench: 295.....will be above 300 next time i full bench
squat: 355...should be around 375 now
dead: 345.....this one sucks because, i dont know why.
