I just found this forum and like it. i did most of my posting in the AAS forum but I like that we can joke around over here a lot easier w/o fear of being banned.

i haven't read this whole thread, but i can think of one chat forum on a lifting site that's a free for all, and it's boring and static and repetitive and gets very few members. same shit, all the time.

and I know of other forums that delete anything offensive and that bores me too.

I think this chat forum is an awesome mix of both- there are long threads where someone reveals a tragedy or serious issue and the discussion and support takes off, and other long threads where people resort to name calling and mud slinging and IMO, both are great to see. i mean, in different ways.

Its not about censorship. Please can talk about almost anything here and have unique points of view. Civil discourse of all topics is welcomed...


Just the worthless ass shit posts I would like to see kept to a minimum (not even totally eliminated). Too much of that stuff here now and we should keep it to a manageable level.

Problem is, every time admin have perceived a problem and taken steps to correct it, the cure has been worse than the disease. And more good people dissappear.

That stuff gets repeated all day everyday by quite a few members. I say it someitmes too, although rarely - mostly just to egg them on. I might say other meaningless drivell that others don't like - I am not sure.

What diff does it make? I just ignore the posts threads that don't interest me. I made some posts in here that you didn't like - I was making a point.

Just ignore it if you don't like it. I mean if someone is instigating a race riot or they are running off your targeted advertising demographic - then yeah, you gotta do something about - but short of that - who cares.

Seems to me you will just run off more members by decided what they shold and should not talk about. Just let the posters of the forum decide for themselves what they want to talk about - no matter how juvinile.

The problem is people who will get there feeling hurt. I Have always been all for somthing like this and always will me. 1 chat forum for reg talk and one forum for
all out flame wars bashing and all that crap. Don't want to see it then don't go to that forum.

One thing I know for sure is this. History proves the more you censor the more people leave.

i can attest that he does take it fairly well, he gets called out all the time.
personally i try to call him out every chance i get, and he deals with it well and retaliates accordingly.

When I first got to ef I got the shit flamed out of me. Any thing you can think of and it was said. I stuck threw and it in the end it was a shit load of fun. I had the whole board
on me. bombs,flames,name calling,pics you name it I got it. Same with my wife. There was a lot more people and a lot more was ok to say and do. As time has gone by there has been more and more censorship yet more and more people bitching there is not enough. Your kidding me right? You have to be kidding me? This is going down a road I don't like.

Thats just how I feel.

When two members wanna go at it...fuckin LET them. It's entertaining to say the least, and that way you won't be locking up threads for the next six months over it. Let them tear each other up and be done with it.

I think that is a fair rule; and with regards to Stiletto's comment, that is the point - an effective mod can moderate and be respected when they make hard decisions (look-up GymGirl)

I was I could get an amnesty day. One day I could come on here and just bust the hell out of some people and not have to worry about them crying or running to the admin.

I don't say a lot of "bad" things about people, but he was a tool.

As for this thread and idea...I see a few good posts on C&C and some stupid shit, and some I'm just not interested in. I pick and choose what to read or participate in. But, I don't offend easily, and I love to joke around. I enjoy all types of humor, including sarcasm and dry wit. I sometimes find it humorous to antagonize and perpetuate situations too. Other times it bores me. Then it is time for my sprockets to dance. I miss some people who have left, but I do find others amusing or "useful." I think to be a mod you should have to maybe have been here a while (maybe 4-5 yrs) and invested in the site (plat). I like apples. I think people should not get so upset at what some dumbfuck posts on the internets. For god's sake, you have so many options! Ignore/laugh/sign off/jerk off...whatever...you emotional bitches. The internet is after all the root of all evil. I read that in the bible! Do you enjoy one long rambling paragraph? I hate it.

and even tho its suppossed to be confined to one forum, it'll still spill over in the others. when user_a rips user_b a new asshole in Uncensored, are they just going to forget about it and act civil in Chat?


too far in either direction isnt good imo - where it is now seems about right - nobody's happy so it must be balanced. the buttcheekclenchers say its out of control and the maniacs say it too reserved. that means its perfect :D
