I got XP professional from college for $5. i like it better than 98 SE, it should prevent memory leaks. I should go back and get a valid copy of microsoft word. Exactly what is the name of the software that has microsoft word. microsoft office?

Ms office is the suite that contains word. XP does have leaks but the memoray usage is much improved over 98 se.

The one thing I noticed about my friends comp that has xp home is that it doesn't have near the driver library nor the stability like I thought it would since it was built on an nt platform. He would plug in his usb webcam and windows wouldn't even know it. All I had to do with my xp pro is plug the thing in and bam it detected and installed the driver for me. I definitely like xp pro but home looks like another 98 or me with the instability
