well to start things off im new to the board, this is my first post. i came across the site the outher day and it seamed to be quite informative. so hears my problem. im kinda new to weight lifting, been working out for four months and i enjoy every second of it. two months ago i started taking met-rex and trac. no my problem is that im not seeing any gains. i have stayed at the same weight and thats my problem. im 6'4 and weight in a a measly 160lbs. my goal is to bulk up, alot. ive been pueny my whole life, which has been all of 18 years, so now its time fo r a change. i want to be huge, i know this cant happen right away but it seems as if nothing is happining. can u guys give me n e advice. am i taking the wring supps. wtf. i cant stand being underweight n e more

metrx mrp is a good supp...you need to make sure you are eating
about 5 small meals day, with good calories, and snacking on some balance bars or something like that. i guarantee youll pack
on size then. you are probably not eating near enough

your problem may be overtraining...read over a couple of basic training articles and see if you have any of hte symptoms. Also make sure your taking in enough protein/calories..cant grow if you dont eat.

well to tell you the truth, i eat soo much its not even funny. and i dont eat junk food or candy or crap like that. i eat alot of chicken and pasta mostly though i do eat some steak. and as for my workout, well i diont think that im overtraining. i go to the gym about 4 sometimes 5 times a week, and i never workout the same stuff two days in a row. how many shakes do you guys drink a day? i think im gunna start drinking more and see if that has any affect

Give us a sample of a typical days diet and your workout routine, this will allow us to help you better.

training routine is very important you really have to shock your muscles you're defainatly an ectomorph thats something you need to read up on you're probably not training your legs very much which is so important squats dead lifts all that good shit its the only way to get your smaller muscles to really grow and hang in there 18 to 22 is when you'll be able to start packing on some pounds believe me i've seen it happen take your time get into a good groove it'll come together your diet sounds good make sure you're drinking your shakes right after your workouts the best way to feed your muscles oh yeah working out 5 times a week is too much!!! 4 tops

1)Increase your calorie intake! Sounds like you're burn what you take or worse...your burning more than you take in! Supp in some MRPs and eat eat eat!

2)Cut your training down to 3 days a week. Follow more of a powerlifting type workout (squats, d-lifts, bench).

3)Do no cardio. Don't run when you can walk, don't walk when you can sit, don't sit when you can lay down!....words from one of my ecto friends.

It is also harder for somebody of your height to make large gains as compared to someone that is 5'8" because your muscle bellies are alot longer and take more time to grow. I am 6'2" and it took me about 10 years of training to get to where I am now. I would give anything to be 2-3 inches shorter. Just set a long term goal for yourself and stick to it. Good luck.

i agree with all said above... i say get around 300 grams of protein and eat 20 x lb weight = daily calories and try not to be in the gym over an hour ... dont do more than 6 sets per body part (doesnt include warm up ) and stay positive just eat 6 or 7 meals
