WTF!!! Just recieved email from DEA

I wouldn't make leaps now. It's possible this is a hack job, trojan etc... who knows. I would suggest we wait and see what getpinz says.

My personal guess would be that the site was hacked.

DEA.COM is a software dealer. This is a total hack job if I ever saw one. The DEA would never warn anyone, they just setup traps to catch people. No worries!

I just received an email from [email protected], actually I got about 5 of them, that read:

The Fda has logged all use of this site (getpinz.com) Your ip address and all personal information is now on file with the fda and dea. Do not visit this site again for illegal purchases or you will be investigated. Jail time and or fine may be imposed. SRT. Ricky Gonzalez.

Is this shit for real? Im guessing it is, but from a pins site?

the drugdealer part just doesn't seem like a realistic email, remember about 2 months ago there was a virus going around sending @fbi.gov emails. I fathom it's something like that.

also, DEA.com, no it's DEA.GOV
makes no sense for them to send you an email from a .COM when it's a .GOV organization

I don't want to start anything, but I got another strange e-mail last week from someone called "gearbox" stating emphatically that they weren't associated with Getpinz. Today I got 3 of these fake DEA e-mails. The timing is suspicious and seems like a chapter out of Guerilla Marketing of something similar.

Sounds like total bullshit. They'd provide a phone number and address for you to contact them at, they wouldn't have warned you. It's a competitor of the getpinz site or someone just messing with you, for sure
