WSB for BB style bench?

Anyone have any suggestions on what exercise i should use to build a heavy BB style bench. I tried PL style for a few months, but found my numbers in BB style went up much quicker. Ive reached a plateau now though, however. What muscles should i be targeting with my accsessory work and what exercises should i be using?

i believe that's two different ends of the spectrum. WSB is geared towards powerlifting so I don't see any other way for it to work for BBers. How long have u been doing PL?
 
WSB works great for off-season BBers (some on-season too). What doesn't work is benching more with your chest alone than with your tris/lats/shoulders/chest. I'm not buyin it.
 
I mean format. By choosing a max effort movement, accsessory supplemental etc. What are the best supplemental exercises for a "Elbows out" style bench.
 
i see your point now. i would think they same acessory movements would still apply. like ext, elbow out ext. shoulder and lat work.

you may want to do some db bench too.

i think youll want to supplement your program with plenty of rotator work. becuase when you blow your shoulders out with that style of bench youll need it. im not a big fan of the bb style bench press.
 
i would say shoulder work. front delt especially. as bad as it sounds, flyes, since your arm is moving that way anyways. triceps to help the lock out. other than that, lat work will only be good for stabilization, since the elbows are out wide you wont get much flex on them.
