i hope your kid turns out alright.

i think im fucked too, i always get bad sinus and upper respitory infections and my ears get infected from it and i have naturally huge tonsils and the doctors always say "wow you have huge tonsils". i even get food trapped behind my tonsils and it feels like im choking and cant get it out.

i have trouble hearing and i always feel like theres fluid shit in my ears like the need to pop some

See that is what I thought about my son. I figured he just had severe allergies. But I got an allergy test done and it said he had 0 allergies..then they look at his tonsils and were in awe at how large they were.I know that they usually try to nip it in the bud here, even though you are oldER than what the typical age is. you should still get it checked out and possibly removed..that shit can sufficate you in your sleep dude...it is not something to just set aside and think of from time to time

i had a doctor recommend me to an ENT but i have other health shit that needs to be followed up on before i can get to that. and im too lazy for both so its basically all on my mom

please tell me you have insurance to cover all that.... when i got out of the navy and lost the health and dental insurance for the family it was a scary time. i was afraid to do aor go anywhere in fear that if something happens we would be screwed. then my wifes work offered insurance and we put our son on her policy and without it he wouldnt be doing as well as he is now. im sorry to hear your child has to go through all that. as a parent myself i can say that we never want our children to be in pain and BM is right, if i could take the pain away and deal with it myself i would in a heartbeat. i pray everything goes well and when this is all done you can breath a sigh of relief.

Angel, the surgery now a days is a no brainer. Try to relax, I've been through many kid hospital episodes, it's not a big deal. He is your baby I get the Mom thing. The benefits you expressed far outweigh not having it. On the flip side, I always checked (including personal conversation) to be sure the anesthesiologist practices in pediatrics, cause I'm a freak about that kind of thing. IMO he/she is more important than the Doctor.

I wish I would have gotten mine out. I had strep throat at least twice a year, every year. Even now, if I get sick, it seems to go straight to tonsilitis.

I'm sorry to hear about your little munchkin being sick. Just tell him that when he gets out of surgery, he can eat all the ice cream he wants. That perks some kids up a little.
